    Accurate injury sliders?

I am quite tired of my pitcher getting pegged in the head, and then proceeding to keep pitching. Does anyone know how to make injuries occur realistically?

Max it out at 10 that's what I have and players do get hurt from time to time and seems to work very well.

I don't think you want to go any higher than 5, I had it at 7 and it cost me a lot of players. I've dropped it down to 5 and players still get hurt but not at an unrealistic amount.

Btw, no matter what injury slider you have it set it. The come backer to the mound never injures a pitcher from what I've seen.

Braves fan, have you seen MLB DL's ?

Teams sometimes lose a lot of KEY players (Red Sox)

I think 7 or 8 is pretty decent, kind of scared to go to 10

I have at 8 and I have a good number of injuries, so I promote a lot of players from AAA, and CPU does the same

Actually, I went to 10 and that I would say is realistic, and there is a cutoff, as soon as a number of players are reached on the DL, that tea, will not suffer any injuries.

I think that is the most realistic, as you will see a lot of players on the waiver wire with a lot of injuries.

I move it to 6 or 7 for my games that I play in my franchise

I move it down to 3 when simulating the CPU games in my franchise

Does raising the injury slider effect minor league simmed games? My minor league injuries are out of control as it is, I don't want to make them worse.

I have it on 10, and I would say on average, combinding MLB, AAA, AA, teams have about 9-10 players on DL, mostly MiLB players. I think it is really realistic though, so far have just lost Andy Pettitte and Francisco Cervelli to the DL, though others have gotten injured on my MLB team, just for a couple days.

So you simulate up to your game for the day at 3, then raise it to 6-7 long enough to play the game, then immediately lower it back down to 3? That seems like quite a bit of work in a full season.
