Getting ramped up for the baseball season and the release of MLB 11 so im turning off the hockey and football and moving to baseball. could someone suggest the BEST sliders for All Star realism. I know they depend on my skills but id like a starting point please.

I've had the almost 8 months now (bought a PS3 Slim just to get this franchise) and I've been using the following settings:

All-Star for hitting and pitching. All sliders at default, except for Pitch Speed -3 clicks (this is strictly up to you as some people like the pitches faster/slower. This works for me), CPU Strike Frequency -2 clicks and HUM/CPU Reliever Stamina -2 clicks.

I'm 33-34 in my Mets franchise and 33-37 in my Rockies franchise, so overall pretty close to .500 with nearly 140 games played, not to mention all the Exhibition games I've played using various classic sets.

This game is very well-tuned out of the box, so there really isn't a need to make sweeping changes across the board to sliders, at least in my opinion.

My only issue is i find the computer runs far to fast on either side. So a realistic tune for that would help i think. Just an overall lack of extra base hits.

That's another slider that is user-subjective. I see plenty of extra-base hits (I lead the league in triples in my Mets franchise and am middle of the pack in doubles) with speed @ default. If you want to see guys in the OF move a little slower, just drop the slider a few clicks.

i used phychobulks sliders, they are at the bottom of the slider set, those worked great for me

Another vote for Psychobulk's set here. But DJ is totally right, sweeping changes are not needed at all. The only slider that I think absolutely has to be dropped a click or two is the CPU throw strike one. That seems to make walks a little more realistic and I get into some great pitcher/batter duels with it set this way.

The SCEA team should be congratulated for releasing a game that plays so well out of the box. Its really quite remarkable.
