Starting sliders with all at 0..?

Has anyone ever tried this and worked forward in their adjustments?
I'd be willing to bet that things like walks are not as bad off as you think.
Maybe I'll try sometime when I get a chance, but it's late here now.

    Just a thought I had.

I've actually tried something similar in MLB 10. Not everything was zero, but contact, timing, power, solid hit, etc., all hitters sliders were zero. Offense was significantly lower, but not so low as to change the game balance drastically. Certainly wasn't playing like dead ball era.

I think Brian_SCEA commented on sliders being more for difficulty adjustment, not for drastically changing how the game plays.

      I just tried it.
      All sliders at 0, CINN(me) v Jays
5-2 Cinn, Gommes hit 2 HR, Snider 1HR. 3 doubles, 11 hits total.
I walked 4, I was walked 3 times. made 2 errors (auto defence)

All Star level Hitting, HOF Pitching, Guess pitch off

Yeah it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. The Stamina was gone at around 80 pitches for the Starters, but other than that it was ok as far as a " for fun" test went.
