I can't pitch any more (analog BTW). it doesn't matter where or how fast I move the R-stick...the cursor about 65% of the time goes right down the friggin middle now. plus to compound this problem, even when I finally DO make a good pitch, the CPU is absolutely launching bombs on (for example): low and outside corner, "okay" contact with "late" timing and their PCI well over the actual pitch location (whereas my "solid/superb" contact + "perfect" timing is resulting in dinky popups or groundouts...unless they are flat out missing the pitch completely which is now happening WAY too often. but that can be a whole other thread)
I'd get it if it was only power hitters doing this, or an average guy doing it from time to time...but it is absolutely ridiculous.
which of the sliders will stop the "wandering" pitch locator icon? it is the one for consistency or accuracy? I typically hate tweaking sliders for fear of giving myself an unfair advantage, but I need to address this issue before I lose my mind.
and just to put into perspective a typical game (pre patch) with an ace type pitcher for me would be going about 7ish innings, striking out 4-7, giving up a handfull of hits and a couple of runs. you know, a solid start (generally, I know it won't happen EVERY game and even in video game land guys will have bad days). now I am struggling to get through 5-6 innings giving up less than 7 runs, striking out maybe 1 or 2. my 'chise is with the Phillies too, so I have some good arms at my disposal. I am currently on All-Star (but I typically end up playing hall of fame by early summer FTR)
thoughts on slider tweaks?
