veteran contact question

dont know why this happened but I gave the cpu a contact of 5. i wanted to increase their hits a bit so I moved it up to 6. since putting it to 6 they get LESS hits a game....why is this?

The last 10 games played with 5 they averaged 5 hits a game. since moving it UP to 6 they average 3. this is the only slider I adjusted.

Contact isn't meant to increase hits, just contact. If you wanted to increase hits from the CPU, you would have to increase the Solid Hits slider

Also what's your sample size looking like? Sliders aren't the only thing that factor into the game. You might just be playing a weaker offense than you were before, or pitching better, or whatever else.
