I don't want to do anything too drastic but do you guys thing that lowering timing to 3 would do the trick? Or would this have too much of an influence. I don't want the game to be too easy.

Timing.
Right now I've been getting good results with my current sliders. I play on All-Star and dropped CPU power to 4, CPU timing down to 4 and CPU solid hits to 3. Everything else is on default. I like how the game plays but one thing I would like to see is more swing and misses.

Re: Timing.
I'm having the same issue on HOF.
I've considered dropping contact, while raising power to compensate...but I'm just not convinced that the CPU contact slider is as subtle as I'd like it to be.
I recently dropped fouls. Granted, it's only 3 games, but misses are up. Unfortunately, so aren't 1st pitch balls put in play! LOL!
I won AND lost at the same time!
Sorry, I wish I could be of more help. -
Re: Timing.
Yeah there should be an increase in swing-throughs. I'd doubt it be too pronounced though.
It's been on my to-do list to try lowering CPU Timing down to 3 or so and see how that plays out, because I've been experiencing the same problem. My solution was to lower CPU contact, but I'd imagine that Timing would cause fewer problems, although I haven't really had any problems with a reduced Contact.Comment

Re: Timing.
I've played a couple games with it at 3 and got really good results. The only concern I have is that it will negatively affect my CPU counterparts (on Road to the Show) when I watch the game. I play as a pitcher and like to watch my teammates bat. Lowering CPU timing would affect their hitting ability which, for whatever reason is already hampered.Comment
