    My Pitching was to blame for the loss.



    I think I'm using zone hitting. When at bat I have a yellow/orange circle in the middle of the zone that moves with the left analog stick. Granted I've never moved it during an at bat so that may be the reason haha

    *One last thing, I had the CPU hit a liner to my RF and I still threw him out at first. Should I adjust fielder speed?
    Get rid of the indicators like Strike Zone, that bat thing (PCI), etc.....focus on seeing the pitch and hitting it

        which pitchers are you using and what pitching mode you use? if you're not always adding oomph to the pitch, then check the pitcher's stamina ratings, maybe they were set too low by scea.

                Oh...OK

                I thought you meant that you were seeing the PCI and stuff on the screen before the pitch.

                Keep me posted on how it's going.....but once you start your franchise - I don't want to have 10,000 boxscores in here. Please start a thread for your franchise if you want to post boxscores and then just post updates with standings, stats, etc every 20 games or so.

                    I think he has it on zone hitting but he isnt moving the left stick when he swings.....thus missing alot of pitches even though his timing is good....probably needs to move left stick for zone or switch to timing so he at least has a shot at good contact just my opinion

                        me to i use timing, maybe it's for this..
                        however it seems that in exibition game i could score often than in franchise mode.. why??
                        i use indians...

                            Franchise mode is different than exhibition.....it's a little bit harder and you need to be a little bit better.

                            Trust me - the problems you are having are not slider related.....you need to improve at hitting and pitching. I'm willing to bet that you are swinging at just about everything and that you are not pitching well enough.

                                I use the Indians too, and after playing about 50+ exhibition games and feeling confident, i started a chise with the Indians, and it is alot harder than exhibition. Your players get fatigued, get in slumps, and your Starting pitcher and bullpen will get punished if your pitching game isnt top-notch. But if you can be patient and swing at good pitches only, and pitch effectively, you'll see better results. The Tribe probably isnt the best team to get used to this set in franchise mode, I am 15-29 with them, and 19-4 currently with the Dodgers in another chise.

                                    I understood the problem, i downloaded your sliders from vault but i noticed that on vault the sliders are not updated, i copied this in first page and i won 9-3 the next match with walk and more realistic situation.
                                    Now are perfect cuz on vault for example the foul frequency is al 4 and many other little differences that made game to much unforgiveable and not realistic.
                                    You have to update it.
                                    Now i enjoy the game really.

                                        I see people posting box scores and such. Where exactly when playing a franchise does the files go to send them to a pc? How exactly is that done?

                                            Im really really enjoying these sliders. Makes you really have to focus on the pitches and not swing at crap. love working the counts. ive been hit by pitches 2 games in a row now too lol.

                                                Just wanted to give mad props to TNK & ROYALE for these great sliders. I used your sliders last year and had a blast. Same is happening with this year's version. Now that Knight & Co.'s rosters are out.... I'm about to be in virtual baseball heaven.

                                                        Not having that problem.....how's your offense overall? Maybe tweak the timing slider one click?

                                                            Anyone else using these sliders on veteran? I'm worried if I go to allstar, I will suck completely at least hitting wise. But I might give it a try
