    Analog pitching mechanics.

When using analog pitching does it matter whether or not you push all the way down on the right analog stick when the ball meter is dropping? I figured we just had to push it enough to get it moving (slightly more than half way down from the centered position). However, when I push it all the way down I seem to be more accurate, maybe its just my mind though.

Also, does anyone have a good method for not throwing the ball with full velocity every time? Every time I try and lighten up on my pitch it either stops registering that I'm moving the analog stick and I throw the ball in the dirt or my pitch is way off target.
