Arm Strength for CPU vs CPU? Looking for opinions.

I was interested in others opinion of arm strength and what they are seeing. I have observed lowering arm strength by one drastically affects catchers ability to throw out base stealers and also seemed to cause weak throws from outfielders. Even strong armed outfielders were bouncing throws to bases. I also saw cut off men throwing to the plate and consistently bouncing the ball. Anyone have any thoughts.

There is a thread for global sliders:

    http://www.operationsports.com/forum...iscussion.html

I think it's better to share thoughts and stuff in one place rather than having different threads on exactly the same topic.

FYI, Fielder Arm Strength slider doesn't affect the catcher preventing steals.

I think that slider is hard to keep balance with. Lower too much and you won't see strong throws from guys with cannons, and up too much and everyone throws laser beam from the ground on Earth to Mars.

I hear you......you are a great source of knowledge about such things and I have read your thread as you know. Just don't want to get you sore at me for moving in on your thread. But thanks for the response.

No, I'm not sore at you at all! It's just my writing style that brings fear to people. I'm not kidding when I say I have frightened so many people by my internet writing/email but that's not intentional.

I'm just suggesting to do this type of discussion in an already existing thread for the very purpose it was created. I see that you just joined the forum, and I'm just telling you that people here kinda want things neatly organized... and it's good to share information in an organized manner.

That's why we see here so many mods waiting to close threads and ban people who don't follow the rules, haha.

Understood. Been reading that other thread. I wish there was a way to lower arm strength for infielders only but leave it alone for outfielders. I enjoy seeing guys being gunned down occasionally on the bases. But I will pick this up in the other thread you eluded too.
