How are your early results?
Are Human issued BB's and CPU runs pretty varied?Comment

Psycho, what's your take on wind this year? This slider has confused me since my early years of making sliders for this game. I feel like I can really mess something up either way I go with it.Comment

Re: **Perfect Sliders 2012** (HOF)
Ive spent the last couple of days playing with Classic, and while it grew on me, its still not my "thing" lol, it was ok but Pulse gives me more enjoyment so im sticking with that for my new franchise which starts tonight
Slider set for All-Star...

As you can see, very few changes, an important one being Pitch Consistency, H&V was spot on about this, its too easy on AS to dominate too often at 4, 3 is about right.
Its pretty much default All-Star with what i consider a few needed tweaks, thats it.
Im set now, wont be changing any more sliders for the year, give them a try and enjoyComment

Re: **Perfect Sliders 2012** (HOF)
I left it at default when trying out Classic.
Wind - overdone on default as normal with this game, in my opinion.
3 still allows for fairly windy days on occasion as well as the calm ones, so all is good.Comment

Re: **Perfect Sliders 2012** (HOF)
I know it takes more than a few games to fully test sliders out but these All Star sliders are generating too much offense for me and the CPU. I think that I am going to switch back to your old sliders. Using the old sliders and lowering hitting to All Star, I was getting great games.Comment

Re: **Perfect Sliders 2012** (HOF)
Hmm...I'd actually been using the second to last "HOF" set on All-Star this entire time and it had been playing pretty good on that level.
I wasn't drawing a ton of walks, so I was going to ask about "consistency".....Maybe I'll have to try it on 3 then for the CPU.
The one thing I would question is Injuries at 3. I moved those to Default and I am just about done with two months (and probably jinxing myself) and I've yet to have a MLB guy go on the DL. I've had 3 guys get "out for a few days" injuries.
Not sure if that just makes me lucky, or you are not going to see any injuries at 3.Comment

Re: **Perfect Sliders 2012** (HOF)
Not sure if anyone has had a situation like this (and what you did).....
Anyways, While my Franchise was playing well I did really get in a rut hitting. My average was still like .268 but for a few weeks (in season time) every game was 2-4 runs and for the season I was hitting an average of less than a home run per game (through a 40 game sample size) which left me averaging under 4 runs a game with the Red Sox.
I was reading some "power" threads and analyzing my own results and I realized I was late/just late on everything. Most of my base hits and even when I would hit one out it was going the other way.......which made sense why I was lacking a bit more power.
So instead of making drastic changes I decided to just keep as is but lower pitch speed to 3.
It worked.....but now I fear too well. I did have a couple monster games which skew these averages a bit, but during 13 games at that pitch speed I'm averaging a bit over 2 Hr's a game, a bit over 6 runs and coming up with 12 hits a game.
Despite hitting better I'm actually just 6-7 in those games.
So not sure if I should be worried......If I need to consider another change......or it's a case where the Red Sox (my team) have some great hitter's which I've gotten hot and the offense is on a tear and I should just enjoy it while it lasts.
Hopefully that explanation makes some sense.......Like I said, wondering what others would do in this situation, and/or how long I should monitor before knowing if it is a real problem.
And I will also say, while I'd dream all the stats were "perfect" I can live with something like having a batting average a bit too high (especially since I only draw a couple walks per game) as long as things like results, Hr's and runs are realistic, and I don't have individual batter's hitting like .400.
If anyone bothers to read and to respond to my novel of a post....Thanks ahead of time.Comment

My last 4 games (which again, is no sample size at all really) have been 9-5, 2-0, 3-2, 4-0.
You really need to stick with it to get a true reflection as im sure you know.Comment

Re: **Perfect Sliders 2012** (HOF)
Been super quiet in here for a while! I had dropped down the veteran for hitting for a while, using armour and swords set, but I think I'm ready to step back up. Any stats/feeling on gow these are playing on all star PB?Currently playing MLB 23
Pipe dream: a good cricket game! (still)Comment

Re: **Perfect Sliders 2012** (HOF)
Another great set by Psycho , only issue I've been having is fielding seem's so much slower and not as fluid. My suggestion's for anyone experiencing the same:
Fielder Run Speed : 4
Fielder Reaction : 5
Fielder Arm Strength : 3
Other than that awesome sliders!Comment
