    Hitting: Timing
    Pitching: Classic
    Fielding: Auto
    Thow decisions: On/Auto
    Baserunning: Auto

Pretty much I just do the hitting and the pitching. This makes me feel that signing good free agents and "A" potential players are that much more important being that attributes will take a larger role with my settings.
I use classic pitching on HOF and fairly close to this set. However, I have all the CPU hitting sliders at 4 unlike this set which leaves two at default, and I have User pitch control at 7 and Consistency at 6. In my opinion if you use classic with default HOF your asking to scream haha. Hope this helps man.

Yes, put the CPU Strike Freq back to default - they throw enough balls/walks if you are patient enough.

No idea, try it, but bare in mind they are made for HOF and Pulse so there may be a variance.

They are now up on the Vault as Perfect v1.2

You would drop the starter stamina if you wanted them to pulled quicker. Yes they can pitch withtout energy but the velocities esp fastball go way down and they are more likely to be injured.

Solid Hits at default is nowhere near as amped up as it was last year, so a reduction of just the one click does the job this year. Much more than that and you will see XBH drop off significantly over time.

Psycho - have you been hitting any homers with the contact swing? I want to thank you again for your slider set. I have tweaked it a little bit, but I am truly loving the game now.

My little tweak are: (I use meter pitching)

      human timing - 6
      human control - 6
      human consistency - 5
      cpu strike freq. - 4
fielding errors - 7 (still not seeing too many)
throwing errors - 6(same as above)

I started my D'back season over again with this slider set and had a great game, winning 4-2. Giants got 7 hits including a homer, I got 8 hits including 2 doubles and a Upton 414-foot bomb. Cpu k'd 3 times and walked once. I struck out 8 times and walked twice. Things looked pretty good to me. Thanks again

After seeing the settings you had, I decided to give your sliders a shot and I enjoyed what I played with after one game. I'm gonna play a couple more games to get a feel of it. The game I played was Tigers vs. Angels and I won 3-2. I had been playing on All-Star was seeing too many hits being made especially by the CPU and my strike pct. was high (75-82) and after making the change, my % was at a 66. Hope to see more updates and I will keep playing to see what these sliders can produce.

          Re: **Perfect Sliders 2012** (HOF)

I have used these now for several games, and find them to be so far the best realism sliders out there right now. I have hit homeruns on pitches I should have hit them on. I have walked when I'm patient and struck out at a realistic pace I think. I use meter pitching and really like the effect I'm getting here also. My only issue has been xbh for both me and the cpu, and I don't know if sliders can fix this. Has anyone else noticed pretty much everything you hit in the gap is caught, and anything down the line is pretty much a single as the fielder pounces on the ball so quick you can't take two. I was thinking maybe fielding reaction may help this but have not tweaked it yet. I like to play awhile with sliders before I make any adjustments. Another thing I have noticed is that the outfielders are on the ball so quickly that the hitter don't even make his turn at first anymore, he stops right on the bag in most cases. These sliders are really nice so far thank you for the work put into them...

Pyscho, have you tried zone hitting?
I really think it is the way to go this year.
Just wondering if you have tried to use it yet.

Honestly, i dont know, ive never used Classic, but i cant imagine it would be massive dissimilar to Pulse as its more ratings based too, give it a try.

I think it does, it does for me anyway, again i love to have fielding ratings make a difference and hate losing games on silly plays in the field made by me that the CPU would never make, so i go with Auto but still do the throwing to keep the sense of being involved.

              Short answer...yes, 2.

Nope, not a zone man, prefer Timing for the ratings to matter as well as my stick skills.

              Thanks for the comments guys.

Anyone else having any kind of problems with errors? I use auto fielding but make the throws too. Also I have played quite a few games now, is anybody hitting many doubles, or has anyone hit a triple yet? I use different teams most of the time to test sliders and have yet to hit a three bagger. These are the only problems I have had so far, everything else is great. Strike % is setting between 55 to 62 depending on who's throwing..Just wandering if anyone else was having trouble in these areas...thanks

Psycho once again great sliders my friend! Can't wait to start my season with the Tigers and I'm sure you feel the same. So glad to see you doing your own set this year.

Just to put my two cents in. Anyone using Classic pitching like I do, I suggest you just put Hum Pitcher Consistency back to default.

The only changes I made were......

Pitch speed 3( helps me generate more walks and catch up to fastballs for xbh)
Fielder run speed 2( helps a ton with those line drives down the line and balls hit in the gaps t turn them into doubles and tripes instead of singles.

Hey Psycho. I am thinking about trying this set for comparison, but am hesitant about solid hits being set at 4. I have actually been using 2, which may sound crazy, but I used your set from last year, and you know you set where you did because it increased hit variety. So this year when I tried four or even three, I just felt that everything was hit hard. Have you seen good results at four, or does part of you think you might drop it further?

Just a quick note, i played a game between the Marlins and Padres and I was able to draw 6 walks in the game. The pitch speed isn't a problem for me and at one point thought about lowering down the strike frequency but held back since the cpu was averaging around 68% strikes.

One thing I might have to work on is my pitching. I'm giving up way to many hits. With Josh Johnson, I gave up eight hits and 12 hits total in that one game. Each game I've been playing, I'm giving up around 10+ hits. Maybe I need more practice on HOF since I'm bumping up From AS. Still want to play more games and see how I progress.

                          No, not for me.

                          Why?

Been rocking with your sliders for a while and have been getting good games. They also work well with my RTTS guy as he's put up fairly realistic stats. As you can see I jumped all over Danks and ran his pitch count up. The first run was on a swinging bunt chopper to 3rd that Morel bobbled. Axelrod came in and was throwing peas and just spotting his pitches. Got me looking a few times and had me chase a few late-breaking sliders. Cool thing to add was homeruns came off of the contact swing, two strike counts, and swing influence to stay out to the double play on the Reimold. All-in-all I am digging these. Never have done auto fielding in a game EVER, but it does help with balls getting hit into the gap and bounces off walls, and I'm not as bothered as I thought I'd be. Only adjustment I have made is pitch speed @3 as I'm late on EVERYTHING with it @4. Well done, sir

                              Psychobulk,

I'm considering bumping up to HOF (Timing) hitting and was wondering if you would mind posting some team stats. Darwin too! If you ever get a series done...

Specifically, I'm looking for a greater variety of walks. So if that's all you have time for, that would be enough for me.

Last year on HOF, I had games where I'd walk 8 times. Have you exceeded the 5 threshold yet?

*EDIT* Gizmo, I just saw you recently drew 6. I think Darwin did too. Interesting...

I'm an idiot when it comes to computers and knowing how to post boxscores and stuff on this site. LOL on your comment about me EVER finishing a series (unfortunately it is true!!). This year I have told me wife to ban me from the ps3 and s_x if she hears that I started my season over - so hopefully I have enough incentive to finish a series and a season!!

What I have been doing (whether it is right or wrong) while waiting for the osfm opening day rosters to drop is to start a "practice" season with the D'backs. But I play only the first 2 series (vs Giants, @ Padres and then start over) just to get used to the game and for me to test out sliders. I haven't kept any team stats long enough yet to be able to post team stats for you, sorry.

I can generalize with confidence however, that I haven't seen an issue (yet) with the number of BBs. In one game against Lincecum he walked me 4 times before he was pulled in the 6th. One of the walks was a 4-pitch walk to my pitcher. Another was a walk where I fell behind 0-2 and then the next 4 pitches were balls. Next game against Cain I walked only 2 times and he pretty much dominated me. I am averaging about 8 hits per game (against the 3rd ranked Giants pitching staff), 6 k's per game, 3 BBs per game, 4 xbh/game and 1 homer/game. This is with the cpu pitching sliders at 5,4,4. I have tried various combinations for these slider adjustments and this combination seems to be working the best for me so far. I haven't played close enough attention to know if the cpu turns in to Cy Young in crucial run scoring situations - as some have indicated in other threads, but I am going to start paying attention to that over my next few games. The concern seems to be that once the user gets a guy or 2 on base every pitch the cpu throws is on the black and pretty much unhittable. I haven't noticed this yet with my current slider set. I will report back after a few more games (I have deleted my season and will play the Giants series again) to see if I need to lower cpu consistency to 3.

                                I appreciate your feedback/help/advice.
