I really like these sliders but I'm coming to the point where I might put this game down for a while. I'm so sick of playing games were I get 1 or 2 hits and no offense. I use multiple teams and I still don't score. I draw walks but hits, forget about it, they don;t happen. If you play on veteren it's all day strikes, I play on HOF, I get 1 hit. I'm getting frustrated to no end.

Guys i just don't understand this.
If the sliders are not working out for you as posted then just keep increasing the hitting sliders until you are getting realistic results.
Do you feel like you will be 'judged' if you don't use the sliders as is?

Most sliders if you adjust one thing, it throws something else out of wack. I just think I need a break. Last year I used analog for pitching and hitting. This year I switched to use PB's sliders. I don't want to play on lower levels because the cpu throws a ton of strikes. That's why I want to use THESE sliders. I might just go back to the way I played last year on default, with changes to the wind.

Gotta say I'm loving the sliders. I've been using them for a few weeks now. My favorite part about these is the pitching. For the first time on HOF I feel challenged. By the 3rd or 4th inning I have to start adjusting my strategy because the CPU will get to you if you don't.

Hitting is really the thing I struggle with. I'm still working on it and have seen improvement. I turned down the pitch speed slider to 0 just to give myself some extra time and that has helped.

Overall great stuff and I'm finally having a blast with this game since the patch dropped.

                Re: **Perfect Sliders 2012** (HOF)

Played my first game with these last night. Never played on HOF before. I was using the Braves against the Brewers and lost 3-0. Randy Wolf went the distance for the brewers and struck me out 17 times and allowed 1 hit. HOF seems to be more straight forward. I was using TNK's sliders before and had different results. One thing about the game is that it's difficult. I had streaks of great game play but recently have fallen on hard times. I'm going to play 5 games with these sliders and make a determination from there.

PB....only problem I'm having with the sliders is too many foul balls on the AI side. I'm all for keeping an AB alive, but when I'm routinely throwing 20 pitch innings, and not giving up a hit or a walk, I think maybe 4 is too high?

Not seeing that mate truthfully, im striking a lot of guys out by setting them up well. In my last outing Henderson Alvarez struggled in the 1st inning at 28 pitches, then settled and i think it went something like 12, 9, 7, 16, 14 for a total of 86 pitches through 6 when i pulled him for a situational lefty.

My advice would be stick with it and dont be afraid to throw balls to strike guys out, its amazing some of the junk you can get the CPU to swing at if you have set them up well or in a previous at bat.

I am, but i like to run with a different team in franchise some years

I also prefer to run with another team as i find myself (if im the Tigers) trying to emulate real life too much with stats/moves, and i dont want to be like that, i want to live in my own virtual MLB world, so i thought what better challenge than to try and topple the dominant trio of the Yanks/Sox/Rays.

Great job on the sliders. My only advice at this point is definitely fielder speed 2. By far the best that I have tried. And for those having issues hitting, pitch speed decrease. I play at 0 and seem to get a decent look at the plate, but keep in mind, I play on zone hitting so more time is needed. Online is even better at 0 because it seems to give a tad bit more time. Just giving some feedback. Thanks again

To be honest, I did try one game with it at 3 and had thrown 75 pitches through 7 innings, with 8 Ks with JJ in the Braves! I doubted solid hits at 4 but feel better about it now I'm used to the timing, so I will stick with the fouls at 4 as well!

played my 2nd game this morning. I won 1-0 using the braves and the computer was the brewers. Martin Prado hit a homerun in the 1st inning and that was the only runs scored between each team. I struck out 15 times in this game. I am having a hard time picking up the low and high pitches now. Another issue I am experiencing is the aggresive nature of the cpu pitchers. They seem to throw strikes alot and hardly and balls. It seems like a cat and mouse game. HOF truely is a different experience. I like the difficulty but I guess I just need more time and let things play out. How do you guys pick up pitches, any tips? The only thing I did was change the pitch speed to 0.
