You're not going to see a big difference with 1 click over 5-7 games. Baseball statistics are highly variable and show themselves over 162 games. What you're seeing is just standard variance that happened to coincide with a slider adjustment. Don't forget we have to account for User variance too. SOmetimes you just play better/worse over stretches.
For all we know, lowering SH might have made you concentrate more.

Well I mean if you think about it if SH is lowered to 3 and power is at 5 then your bound to see more HR. I mean its not effecting your contact it just changes whats more likely to happen when you do make contact. So lets say every slider click is 10% then when you make contact your going to get a solid hit 30% of the time, and hit with power 50% of the time.

ooo i see, never really thought about it like that, so how often is a ball struck with "power", in mlb? not sure if there is a actual stat on that, but knowing baseball there is

Here you go... Looks like about 20 percent on a line
Sporting Charts explains Line Drive Percentage - LD%

The collision between ball and bat lasts for only one-1,000th of a second, and a difference of a quarter inch can mean the difference between a screaming liner for a double and a lazy fly ball out. The impact on results is great, as 75% of line drives end up as hits, as compared to only 21% of fly balls resulting in a batter reaching base. It also makes a great difference in how much time a fielder has to react. A typical liner travels 300 feet in four seconds, whereas a fly ball travels that same distance in a half-second longer. The league-wide line drive rate hold steady at near 20% each season.
