Stride slider explaination PLz!

anyone know how this slider works. I understand the concept, what I'm curious to know is whether it is like the hitting sliders where you move them up to make it easier?

or is it like the pitch speed where you move it down to make it easier?

I have a feeling there may need to be a tweak there needed for us analog batters .
I have been searching everywhere but to no avail. Plz Help

Yeah, I just looked and the in-game description is not very clear about which way you need to move the slider to make it more difficult/lenient. You can experiment with it though... Use 0/10 or 10/10 setting in a game and see how you feel about the stride timing looking at the swing analysis.

I managed to get a response from a developer that said

" move to the left to make the stride window bigger/easier and to the right tp make the window smaller/harder"

Question as I'm not familiar with this slider.
If this slider is adjusted left or right from default, how does it affect the other hitting sliders?

Keep in mind that this slider is only used in both analog batting modes.

So if you move it left from default it will make the stride "window" larger making it easier to make better contact in conjunction with the timing slider.

If you go right of default then the "window" is smaller meaning you have to be much more precise with your stride in Order to get a quality hit

If the indicator thing says my stride is too early, should I move the stride slider to the left then?

It says once you move it left or right, it overrides the difficulty. Does this mean that if I have it at 4, it'll be same difficulty to hit on veteran as it'll be for legend? Or if I move it left or right, and put it back at 5 some other time, will things still be "overwritten" or will it go back to normal.

That will just change the"bonus" you receive. All the slider does is increase or decrease the stride timing "window" . Just like the timing slider does

So if my hits are off cause of the stride, I should lower the slider so that it'd be easier to hit?
