Great thing is, if one set is too hard, use an easier one. I've been thinking about using HOF at home and Legend on the road.

That possibly may be something I do between AS and HOF. I am going to test all of these out probably by simming seasons and then playing the World Series. I have about a week left in my baseball season (I'm a HS coach) to figure out which set works best for me, then I will dive into a Cardinals franchise. Again, thanks for all of the work you guys put into this to make this great game even better.

I set an all-time high with walks taken and walks thrown in my game against the Rockies with Barry Zito and the Giants..

As Barry Zito, I walked... 9.
As a team, we drew... 13 walks.

It was a crazy game! Buster Posey was 0-0 (2 Sac Flies, 4 Walks, 1 Intentional Walk) after the 11-inning, 13-9 win for the Giants.

i´ve been using the AS set w pulse pitching and analogtiming hitting in my pirates franchise and i am in the dead ball era!! cant hit a thing but also dont give up many runs and ok it´s just 3 gamers but no HR´s for either side!

should i give a crack to veteran hitting?

Give it a try and see how it goes. You can always go back to AS.

Box scores of my Franchise to come!

Just had a great game on the Cooperstown Set. These are easily to most realistic and the best slider set for everyone on this board! Anybody should be able to come in here and find a level that fits them right.

Why did you guys decide to put PS back at 5. With the pitch edits it seems even at 10 it wasn't that hard/fast...

I think we felt like if someone wanted pitch speed at 10, HOF or Legend is very close. I think it just balances hits more. It's user preference though, so feel free to leave it at 10 if you like it.

When it was on 10.. when was the last time you were early on a Fastball because it was down the shoot and your eyes lit up? Or how about the last time you froze on that backdoor slider?

On 10, I felt you were always late, no matter what. This led to an unrealistic amount of strikeouts. Most sets use 3/4 where as we use 5 because it is the perfect mix between heat and offspeed.

OK also would it make that much of a difference if I kept pitch speed at 6, thats what I've been using.
