I just raised contact due to me striking out wayyy too much. Moved consistency up since my pen had more innings than my starters. I read the descriptions on the first page, and want the cpu to chase more pitches, I would move down their contact slider, correct? Love these sliders though...

No, my bad haha You gotta change control and/or strike frequency to work walks. Or just flat out take more pitches at the dish, and nibble more on the bump.

I take a ton of pitches, its just you cant take strikes when they get up 0-2 or 1-2 every count, I just wanted to know if one slider did this better than the other.

Sorry guys, for those of you who don't know, I'm in Florida on vacation so it's tough for me to get on here. Hopefully live gets on the answer some questions soon.

Hey authentic or Live, I have a question. So I'm 9 games into my reds franchise and I cant tell if I'm on a hot streak or the sliders are getting too easy. I started the season going 1-2 against the marlin's. Then swept the cards and now have gone up 2-1 in the series against the nats, (6-3) .I'm batting. 291 and averaging 5.4 runs per game. My era as a team is 2.48 and I'm giving up around 8 hits per game. I'm using allstar hitting and hof analog pitching. Should I play a few more games and see if I come back down to earth, or should I try upping the difficulty?

EDIT: do you guys still have the older sliders for analog pitching, before you changed them to pulse/classic? Or are they still the same?

What part of Florida dude? I live in Orlando.

And wisdom less, I would suggest increasing the stamina slider if your starters aren't accumulating enough innings.

I can't answer you edited question, but I can say you need to play more games.

My team ERA was LOW for a LONG TIME. And my BA was super HIGH.

Well, the law of averages had to rear its ugly head into my Yanks chise and bring my ERA in the 3.90's and my BA back down into the .260's.

I can't promise you anything because I do not use these sliders, but I can say that unless something is WAY OFF...like WAY WAY off, you need to play at least 30-40 games before addressing your concerns.

As long as you are not leading or are last in the league in a specific category by a huge margin, after a decent sample size (20 games?), I suggest you ride the wins out.

That would keep them effective for longer, right? I thought it's only because they are getting MASHED hahaha I think I figured out what I was doing wrong. I was using pretty much the same effort for all of my pitches. I also went down to the All-Star set since HOF seemed to produce too many rallies. I'm going to play a few more games with experimenting with how long I'm holding X down for the pitch. My bullpen was buttcheeks before, but after holding X for pretty much full effort, they were effective. Except for Manny Acosta (this game is so realistic) so he, after two games, is in Buffalo. He had like 6-BB 9-H in 1.1-IP. The METS could use another lefty anyway...

As soon as I post this, the next game I played the nats tore me up. Lost 7-1 against Ross Detwiler. I could only muster a HR in the 7th.

Yeah, I'm staying in Orlando. I'm here til the 30th. Any changes in the new patch? Of course a patch would be released when I'm on vacation.

Guys, I might start working on a set of Vita sliders when I get back home from vaca. I have also thought of the idea of releasing certain sliders for RTTS for pitchers and hitters specifically.

                          Work in progress:

                          RTTS Pitcher
                          RTTS Hitter
                          PS Vita Sliders

What do you guys think about having a Google Spreadsheet instead of the current OP? It would clean up the presentation and make it easier to get the difficulty you want. Let me know!

hey Authentic, IM using the Allstar set... and im absolutely demolishing the ball, i just had back to back games of 4 HRS or more.... and guys like brett garnder are even tanking them, if i used the Legend set for hitting and All star set for pitching u think that will help?? Pitching..i seem to get outs alot but never strike outs...

JSauce, how many games have you played? And what do your stats look like? Two games of 4 HR's happen and it isn't enough to make a jump to Legend, IMO. Both the Orioles and Rockies have had 5 hits in a game, all being HR's.. and you don't see them changing difficulties. :P

Seriously though, play more games. If you are at about 60-80 Team HR's after 20 games, then a problem will be present and changes will be needed.
