New to the series, help needed!

    Hi all,

I just got this game and I am new to the series so I was just wondering if I could get some guidance/suggestions for which sliders to use as a beginner?

    Cheers,

You wouldn't want to touch sliders until you feel compelled to do so by some gameplay issues (which you may not have after all!!).

I'd start playing at the Rookie level for all aspect of the game and see how it goes.....

i played on rookie for batting and veteran for pitching and left sliders at default. i used the royals for my franchise and was 5-24. most of my games were close but i always found a way to lose.my son and i were playing against the computer together. i let him borrow the ps 3 for a week and he turned all the computer sliders down and human all the way up now the whole franchise is messed up.

i hit just a little too good on rookie and pitching is a little off. i used the meter for pitching with pitch assist on so the catcher calls the pitches. im thinking i need to play on rookie for pitching and hitting both. i just need rookie sliders that make it a little tougher. i like playing with the strike zone on and pitch assist on. if anybody could give me a set of sliders that would work with timed hitting and pitching meter i would appreciate it. i love this game i havent been this addicted since mvp 2005. i think thats why i play with the pitching meter because it reminds me alot of mvp only better.

im thinking of using i live for this rookie sliders. although i might just go with the meter ,pitch assist and strike zone on but use the siders for contact power etc for both human and computer. this is my first version of the show for the ps 3 . i had a couple for the ps 2 but never really played all that much.
