    Just had a nice game vs the Cardinals i used the Rockies we won 8-2 it was a close game at 5-2 in the 8th till we went on a run.

      Anybody use these sliders with the patch yet? Just wondering if the patch has had any influence on the sliders.

          After reading the official thread on the patch I don't really see anything that would effect the way the sliders work.

          On a happy note the first pitch meatballs are gone and the two handed swing edit is fixed.

                ah ok... last time I checked he was just updating the numbers on the front page... not updating the actual file.

                  I believe he made a slight change to human contact, then released v1.0 to the vault.

                    I dont know if it is me or not but it seems after the patch that the computer is getting more hits off of my pitcher and it seems like the cpu pitching is a bit better.

                    Even thou this is only after two games. I will be playing some more games to see how it is goes

                      Just downloaded this set from the vault and am in the middle of my first game with them. I love the no strike zone, so far in this game, it seems I can see the ball better and judge if its a strike or not. Just seems so much more natural without the big strike zone in the way.

                      Only change I have made is that I use analog pitching. It just feels right and I can throw balls and strikes, not just strikes. Its how I've been playing since release date, and I love it.

                      I have a question though regarding zone hitting with no PCI. With PCI shut off, do I still have to move the L stick just as if the PCI were there? I know it probably may be a stupid question, but last Show I played was back in 07. I've been usuing zone with PCI on since release day, but I've always been a pretty sucky hitter. So just wanted to know.
                      If I still have to move L stick with PCI off, what should I try next? I know analog hitting isn't for me, and though I haven't tried Timing hitting, it just seems cheap since I just have to press 1 button lol. Oh why do I suck at hitting

                            I play on All-Star level and Classic Pitch. I never hit and I only pitch. Here are my essential sliders:

                            Human Control -- 2

                            Human Consistency -- 8

                            Cpu Contact -- 4

                            Cpu Power -- 6

                            Cpu Timing -- 5

                            Cpu Foul Frequency -- 4

                            Cpu Solid Hits -- 2

                            I think I am wrong to have Cpu Foul Frequency (FF) at 4. The rest of the stats look good. However, with the cpu FF at 4, I am seeing almost twice as many Cpu missed swings as I am seeing Cpu fouled balls.

                            In real MLB, we see twice as many foul balls as swings-and-misses. Is Psycho-bulk correct that cpu FF at 6 is the best setting. I realize it depends on who the pitcher is and who is the batter is, but at 4, the stats are very skewed.

                            A bit to many strike-outs. I do like that the Cpu chases more pitches this year. I just need help getting the results closer to reality.

                              After the patch, (small sample size of about 3 games so far) but it seems the CPU is able to paint a lot more than they did prior. I'm not saying they're throwing more first pitch strikes, but it does seem that they are pitching better.

                              I'm going to play another 3 or so games tonight, I'll let you know what happens.

                                After the patch. 4 games in and I definitely notice differences with CPU pitching.

                                Moving pitches more, painting the corners and haven't seen any meatballs as if yet.

                                Side note....

                                I struggle SO bad against scrub pitchers that its frustrating. I chase way too much.

                                I faced verlander, Felix and Halliday. Won all 3. Lit Felix up for 5 runs in the 2nd and he got yanked in the 4th.

                                But whenever I face bums.... I can't hit!!!
