Just played an all-time classic using the set I've been tweaking. The Tribe were up BIG on me early (8-2) but I clawed back (as the 'Stros) and scored 4 in the ninth to walk-off as winners.

Agreed. Anything lower just does not feel right and is extremely slow, considering we had pitch speed at 10 last year...lol

I'm curious to see ow your tweaks and mine match up. Last year we were almost always thinking the same thing before we even told each other.

I tried your set for 12 last night didn't think to check the pitch speed before playing. A little too fast for grandpa.

Just had a spring training game with these. I was the Mariners, and lost to the Padres 11-8. Kind of a slugfest, I hit 5 HR, going to play a couple more and then maybe up the pitching sliders if that continues

I used your sliders last year and loved them...figured I'd give them a shot again. I usually use analog pitching but decided to go with pulse pitching (which I seemed to really enjoy.) I just finished my first game with them, and they worked really good. Latos had a hard time finding his spots and I had to pull him after only 5 innings because of a high pitch count, and fatigue.

IL4T has been testing a Zone/Classic set which I'll post around 7 pm for those of you who like that set up instead. Ill post them in spoilers to avoid clutter and label them. Expect that update tonight around that time.

Love these as i did last year i want to be more vocal this year waiting for the OSMF rosters been playing a lot play now games and i don't have the scores or stats right now so i will talk about the feel

Pitching-Felt great I have been rocked early and then my pitcher settle in and retired 10 straight I have pitch a 1 hitter I have pitch 7 good innings then watch my pitcher get too tired and me try my luck and get tagged so pitching ovr feels so real

Batting- Also feels good pitch speed is on point i would like to see pull hitters really pull the ball more but idk if thats sliders me or the game

fielding-with the new camera settings and no ball marker the outfield is a joy to play also feels really fluid turning double plays (i got out of a bases loaded jam with no outs had to really work for it and it felt great)

Overall feels good I know its just 1.1 and i cant wait to see the progress i hope this help i will post game stats later tonight after i play a couple

Anybody have any good matchups to play in the play now mode let me know

re: MLB 13 The Show sliders by authentic & IL4T

I finally got a game in with the sliders. The only thing I tried out that differentiated from the set on the OP was that I dropped CPU strike frequency to zero. This was done to try and alleviate the first pitch meatball issue that seems to be popping up. The Astros (CPU) pitchers combined for 92 strikes out of a total of 139 pitches (66%). I forgot to check their strike % on the first pitch but it didn't seem like it was a huge issue throughout the course of the game. The Santana HR I hit in the 7th was a first pitch meatball, and after that they definitely strayed away from that game plan.

I also decided to tough it out at 10 pitch speed and found it was fine once I adjusted. I think the batting camera I was using before wasn't suitable for me and exaggerated the speed. I used the "Catcher 4" camera and offset it slightly and really enjoyed it.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I use "auto" fielding for human controls and no feedback for throwing.

Anyways, here are the stats from the game - I was the Indians:
