If you want the same default speed we had in 12 i recommend 8/9/or even 10 this year.

They slowed it down considerably, so to get it back to prev years, as i say, crank it up, 8 for me, im way too early on too many heaters on default on 13.

I'd say 0 as well. I always played it with pitch speed set to zero in years past and this year if I dip below 5 I am horrible at hitting. Honestly I think bumping it to 6 or 7 would be best if you are used to playing on it set to zero as I am years past.

Exactly the same here, pitchspeed 8 this year as on default any heatstuff thrown at me iam way to early also.

I was messing around with the timing window slider and it seemed like lowering it made pitch speed feel faster... With it on default go watch a replay of your hitter's swing, he gets his foot down and hands through the hitting zone ridiculously fast... doesn't look natural at all.

12 was way faster. I bumped it to 7 and then 8 last night, 8 seems to work for me. Guys that throw hard will occasionally whiff me.

I played last year on 4. Right now I'm playing on 10. The difference is huge this year.

I'm having the exact same experience. I played on 0 last year and so far have kept it at 5....just about to raise it to 6 or 7. Waayyy slower than last year's.

I've dropped timing down to 3 and went to the batting cages. The change felt different and I seemed to have better timing, which lead to better contact. My initial reaction is timing slider has bigger impact to last year's hitting than pitch speed. I'm going to continue to experiment.

I've never been able to react quick enough so I've always dropped it down to 0. I don't know how you guys can handle it coming in so fast. I'm trying default now and I seem to be doing ok. Might just leave it there, no way I can go higher than that.

In an effort to replicate the games of the past few years I have thought about closing the timing window myself. Everything seems off and having to increase the pitch speed seems unnatural. I am currently at 9 Pitch Speed maybe I will lower the Timing and decrease the speed a notch and see what happens.

In the past I have had it set to zero but I am waaaaaaaaaaay to early on fastballs and its killing be because I pull everything. I am also way early of off speed pitches so I am swinging before the pitch is even close. I may put it at default for a few games and see what happens.
