    I'm having some issues.

I've never had this much of a problem getting into a grove with The Show as I have with this years game. In the past, it's only taken me a ten or so games and just a few tweaks to the sliders to make make even Rookie pitching and hitting balanced enough to play. But this year, man, I can't figure it out. (I seriously think it's because they got rid of the Guess Pitch mechanic I'd been so used to)

I'm close, but for some reason, I just cannot get over this one thing with hitting. I use Timed, and for the past four games or so the only time I ever get a hit, it's either just a single or it's a Home Run. I have games in which I get beat like 5-3 or 4-2 because my only runs are solo Home Runs. I'll have 3 runs for the game and have like 14 hits because 11 of those hits are just singles.

My extra base hits have all but vanished. Is there ANYTHING I can do with the sliders to help with that? I've lowered the fielder speed way down, raised their reaction, I've raised my power, raised and lowered just about everyone else too it seems and just can't seem to figure it out.

I know you guys are way more knowledgeable about this stuff than I am. I'd just like to figure out what I'm doing wrong and why I'm only hitting Home Runs or Singles.

This is something I've seen extensively as well.
    I strongly recommend:
    +1 Solid Hits
    -1 Power

Also I'm assuming you meant "lowered reaction?" Because if you raise it, that will take away from your ability to get extra-base hits, because fielders retrieve the ball more quickly.

Yes, I meant lowered the reaction on the fielders.

For me, its all about the CPU pitching. I put CPU Control to 4, Consistency to 3, and Strike Frequency to 1. Otherwise, they were constantly painting the corners. By lowering the CPU pitching ability, they will make mistake pitches you can drive and you should be able to work counts if you swear to take pitches and really work up the pitch count. And I have everything on 5 for Human hitting. All star for everything.

I use those same CPU pitching sliders and they still paint and very rarely make mistakes. I sit and wait out counts and they just don't make mistakes. And this is even deep bullpen relievers who are like 73 overall that still have pinpoint control and nail the corners and throw breaking balls that finish just barely out of the zone and are too close to take with 2 strikes.

It's extremely frustrating because it leads to very anemic offense with almost nothing getting hit hard and very few extra base hits and scoring 3 runs a game on average if you're lucky.
