Padgoi's HoF Sliders for those who play strictly on HoF

I've been testing since release day and I think I'm close. A friend of mine and I are using these sliders. He's playing as Atlanta and having trouble scoring. I'm playing as the Yankees and just swept Boston in a tightly contested series. I'd like some feedback if anyone is like me and thinks AllStar is just too easy and likes to strictly play on Hall of Fame.

These were built with Bob's original sliders and tweaked as I saw fit as he uses AllStar batting and these use strictly Hall of Fame.

It should also be mentioned that I use the following settings:

Zone Batting with all markers off and guess pitch off.
Pure Analog Pitching with faded Pitch indicator and simple callout.
    Hall of Fame throwing difficulty
    Pure Analog throwing
All fielding indicators off except Catch Position Indicator

    So without further ado:

    Human Contact - 5
    Human Power - 5
    Human Timing - 5
    Stride Difficulty - 5
    Human Foul Frequency - 7
    Human Solid Hits - 4
    Human Starter Stamina - 6
    Human Reliever Stamina - 1
    Human Pitcher Control - 4
    Human Pitcher Consistency - 4
    CPU Contact - 4
    CPU Power - 5
    CPU Timing - 5
    CPU Foul Frequency - 7
    CPU Solid Hits - 4
    CPU Starter Stamina - 6
    CPU Reliever Stamina - 1
    CPU Pitcher Control - 1
    CPU Pitcher Consistency - 4
    CPU Strike Frequency - 4
    CPU Manager Hook - 4
    CPU Pickoffs - 6
    Pitch Speed - 9
    Fielding Errors - 6
    Throwing Errors - 5
    Fielder Run Speed - 2
    Fielder Reaction - 6
    Fielder Arm Strength - 4
    Baserunner Speed - 6
    Baserunner Steal Ability - 4
    Baserunner Steal Frequency - 4
    Wind - 5
    Injury Frequency - 5

I want to try hall of fame but my settings are classic pitch and time hitting do you think this makes a big different in game play?

Honestly, I don't think timing hitting should be that much of a problem with these sliders, however classic pitching may present an issue. These sliders were built to work with pure analog pitching, so you may have too much control using classic pitching. I walk around 2-4 guys perhaps, but with classic, I'd imagine that number would be halved if not less. Something to consider.

Wow bro these are almost identical to mine as I too started with Bobs sliders and I felt like all star was too easy..I be been searching for last years experience where I felt the game was a lot more challenging..the only difference I have is my solid hits at 4 and power at 5 but I'm thinking of going with yours because im seeing a lot of deep fly balls at the warning track with hitters tht don't even have a lot of power . I also play with pure analog pitching with control and consist on 3 and 3. I'm sure these sliders you posted play great!

That's why I lowered solid hits for CPU. I was seeing WAY too many homers for punch n' judy hitters and it didn't feel real. Case in point, I was playing one game where Mariano Rivera gave up 5 homers and 10 runs in one inning! I think solid hits at 5 and power at 4 gives a perfect blend. These are not finished as I'm still winning far too many games with the Yankees, currently 4-0 and already have 2 comeback wins. The sliders I'm still looking at are:

          - Human and CPU Contact - Averages seem too high across the board as I'm hitting .311 as a team. May decrease this to 4 for both though I'm still striking out a realistic amount, so I may try to combat the high averages through the foul frequency slider below.

          - Foul Frequency - same as above, more foul balls = less hits. May increase this to 7 for both.

Whoa, you feel like you have less control on analog pitching???

No, I was implying classic pitching is easier than analog pitching, so you may not walk anyone whereas with analog pitching, especially on HoF difficulty, it's not easy to pinpoint every pitch and therefore you end up walking guys.

With that said, I've actually increased pitch speed to 10 as I was simply raking on 8 with a team average of ,308 through 10 games. I'm hoping this alleviates some of the higher averages.

To anyone interested, I've updated the first post with a few revisions. The last version was ok, but I underestimated the CPU's ability to make absurd comebacks. I'm using the OSFM Hybrid 1.3b roster by Willard and it seems to be a solid fit so far with these sliders. Please provide feedback if anyone thinks AllStar is simply too easy and wants a little greater challenge (not belittling the AllStar slider sets or anything as those creators put lots of testing work into their sets, but IMO, AllStar is just too easy).
