Re: Pitch speed?
Ive developed my own slider set over time and I use pitch speed at 8. I found anything lower to be too easy and anything higher to be too hard. 8 gives me a terrific balance of walks and strikeouts. I can just see the ball better at 8. I'm pretty sure it's personal preference, but anything lower than 8 is just too slow for me. If your struggling to hit, i'd certainly lower the speed. I made the mistake of changing my sliders when all I really needed to do was bump the pitch speed down a couple notches. -

I play analog legend, which is what I've played the last few years. My team average last year was around 260 or so, so I had realistic numbers, but this year I can't hit much and it seems the timing is what's killing me.
I also rarely get key hits even when up in the count I either pop it up or ground out.
Any suggestions? Any legend players having a hard time adapting this year?Comment

Re: Pitch speed?
I played on analog legend for 2 weeks in April and I couldn't hit a damn thing. So many pop-ups and strikeouts holy-moley. I would even strike out on well-timed swings on meatballs! It was extremely frustrating.
I usually play on pitch-speed 10 but couldn't handle it on legend. Moved it down to 8 and I still couldn't hit for beans. I even tried adjusting the batting sliders but I couldn't find a realistic balance. I ended up using Bobhead's sliders on HOF and called it a day.Comment
