Good CPU slider settings for classic pitching on HOF difficulty?

Played a handful of games in my season on HOF difficultyby mistake. I use classic pitching. I had the slider settings set for All Star difficulty but I noticed I had been getting hit harder and started getting shelled. I allowed 10 earned with Halladay in 3 innings!

I don't know how or when I had increased the difficulty but I found out that I had after checking the settings. The thing is I did pitch some very solid games on HOF as well and it generally felt more engaging.

I was in the top 5 in the majors in team ERA after about a quarter season and sometimes felt like I could just toss it up there and get easy contact outs. Here are my slider settings:

    Human control 4
    Human consistency 3
    CPU contact 7
    CPU power 6
    CPU solid hits 6

Like I said on all star I was finding those a tad easy, but on HOF I had about a 6 1/2 ERA in around 7 games. I don't wanna keep testing sliders (I did that for so long before I finally started my season) so I was wondering if anyone can help me out.

Would one click down in each of the CPU hitting sliders make a 6.50 ERA go down to a more realistic one? Or would one click up and staying on All Star difficulty do the job? Anyone else using classic pitching on HOF? I kinda like how the CPU hitters go about their business on HOF (more life like). Any help would be MUCH APPRECIATED. Sorry about the super long detailed post. Thanks!

Thanks so you're saying default everything hall of fame using classic pitching? How is it for line drive percentages, swing/chase ratios, ground/fly ratios, etc.? Sorry I'm a bit of a stickler for realism

In my experience, the only reason I've ever had to change CPU hitting sliders is to compensate for the human input factor when using Meter or Analog, so that I can maintain strikeouts with a lower Control. (that is, to lower control without losing strikeouts, you have to also lower CPU stuff)

You don't have to do or worry about any of that since you're using classic pitching, and there's literally nothing else particularly off about CPU hitting.

On top of that, Hall of Fame already comes with lower control, so your CPU pitching sliders could go back up too.

Thus, I'd literally just leave all 5 of those sliders on default, and run with everything else where you already have it.

Yeah thanks I'll test it out. Are you playing on HOF? If so, and I know you're not using classic pitching but in general do you find the CPU batters to be the most life like on HOF? I feel that on All Star they're late on pitches a lot more often than they should be, like OFTEN a mistake pitch right down the pipe to a star hitter.

I want (Joey Votto, Mike Trout, Miguel Cabrera) to FEEL like their real life counterparts at the plate. I'm hoping HOF will do that, but not to the extent that pitching to Maicer Izturis I will feel like I'm pitching to one of those guys. It felt like that when I was unknowingly playing on HOF with my CPU hitting sliders having been set for All Star difficulty.

I guess why I'm searching for is a slider set where I can get shelled for 18 runs and throw a 2 hit shutout on the same set. Most of my games I've been in the 2 to 5 range with the odd shutout or rare 7-10 (runs allowed).

Don't get me wrong. I LOVE this game. I'm just looking for that one extra notch of realism to get the absolute most out of it, because I know it's in there.

I play on HOF and the slider set I play with, if you make a mistake with a location of a pitch, best believe you will pay for it.

Would you mind sharing that slider set with me? It'd be greatly appreciated.
