What exactly are "CPU Sliders" in RTTS

So my understanding has always been, in franchise Human sliders would refer to my entire team, since I am everyone. I do all the pitching, all the ABs for everyone.

What just started occurring to me, is in RTTS.

Human Sliders would be just me, the player that I am. So does that mean the CPU Sliders refer to all the other teams, AS WELL as my team mates, who after all are AI controlled?

If so, you can never really improve or decrease your RTTS team's performance without doing the same to all the teams.

So I guess the basic question is, in RTTS, do the cpu sliders affect your team mates? Never really thought about it thru the years.

Sure wish you could edit your RTTS team mates attributes like you can in franchise. Never understood why you can't.

Anyone who is a slider guru that can clarify my thinking? Am I right. Sort of a dilemma if so, without being able to edit your team mates abilities.

Hope I am making sense, if not, won't be the first time.

Yes, CPU sliders are your team mates, too. It' s easy play as pitcher and go with lowest CPU slider settings, your teammates have a tough time to hit or score a run.

The answer to your dilemma is why do you need to improve your team's chances in the first place? If you are not the better team, why do you feel entitled to more wins?

If you really feel the deck is unfairly stacked, you can still play around with sliders if you put some thought into it. The sliders only take effect during at-bats/innings where you are actually playing/watching (not the "quick simmed" or "skipped" parts)...

So for the most part, in the long run, they effect the opposing team a little more than they effect you.
