    Manager Sliders for Franchise Mode

Ok guys I'm a huge manager mode guy and I've been taken a lot of time out to try and find the perfect manager mode sliders for us to make the game as realistic as possible. I'm still in the testing phase athough I feel I've tested these enough to put them out and see how you guys that play manager mode like them. I would also love any feedback back to help find us the perfect manager mode slider set.

    --------------------------------
    Version 1 - Updated 4/30/14
    --------------------------------

    CPU Contact - 6
Reasoning: I'm currently going back between 5 and 6 but as of right now I am getting quality at bats while the pitchers still get K's if they got high confidence

    CPU Power - 4
Reasoning: Any higher I feel you see way too many homeruns

    CPU Timing - 5
Reasoning: This coincides with CPU Contact therefore still testing this but as of right now I feel 5 is perfect number from seeing too many K's per game

    CPU Foul Frequency - 2
Reasoning: Could be 3 if you're seeing too many K's per game as of right now I feel 2 is perfect from showing the mediocre picthers from the ace's on the mound

    CPU Solid Hits - 3
Reasoning: I did research on a few of the current slider threads out and notice a low number mostly when it comes to solid hits so I gave it a go and feel it works perfect. I get games where I only get 1-2 hits but other games get 7-9 hits for example although I may test with 4 soon

    CPU Starter Stamina - 6
Reasoning: Most pitchers are hitting 65-85 pitchers if they are still in when the 6th inning rolls around. If you are looking to keep you're pitcher in for a complete game if his confidence is high I feel anything lower then 6 will make any complete game way too tough to come by

    CPU Reliever Stamina - 3
Reasoning: Well it's common sense they are RP for a reason right? Why have the same stamina bar as a SP? I figured 3 is the perfect # as of right now but willing to hear feedback

    CPU Pitcher Control - 5
Reasoning: Anything less I feel that when you got your aces out there they are all over the place like pitcher that is 4th in rotation

    CPU Pitcher Consistency - 6
Reasoning: Anything less I feel you see too many pass balls causing unearned bases or even runs sometimes if a runner is on 3rd costing you the game

    CPU Strike Frequency - 5
Reasoning: Once again anything less you see too many walks

    CPU Manager Hook -5
Reasoning: I feel 5 is perfect

    CPU Pick offs - 5
Reasoning: N/A (Doesn't matter CPU doesn't try and pick you off in manager mode)

    Pitch Speed - N/A
Reasoning: Anything you want it to be, I use 10 but it doesn't matter

    Fielding Errors - 5
Reasoning: I was going back and forth between 4 and 5 and I feel right now 5 seems to be more realistic

    Throwing Errors - 4
Reasoning: I had this on 5 recently but at one point I had 3 consecutive throwing errors almost making me break the game. I bumped it down to 4 and it seems to be much more realistic. 3 is even ok to play it on

    Fielder Run Speed - 3
Reasoning: Makes getting hits more realistic

    Fielder Reaction - 8 or 9
Reasoning: As of right now I'm on 9 but I may bumped it down to 8 to give that a shot but either or seems to be what you see on TV when it comes to the infield either making the play or you getting the hit

    Fielder Arm Strength - 3
Reasoning: Doubles and Triples become much more realistic to get with you faster guys

    Baserunner Speed - 3
Reasoning: Once again Doubles and Triples are more realistic. You won't see Ortiz ever get a triple unless he hits it in space :P

    Baserunner Steal Ability - 6
Reasoning: Since we don't control the lead off it's only fair to bump this to 6 rather then keep it at 5. Unlike when you're playing you can't lead off the base the way you want to so this makes up for it

    Baserunner Steal Frequency - 5
Reasoning: Not too many steals but you see the usual amount

    Wind - 5
    Reasoning: Doesn't matter much

    Injury Frequency: 6
Reasoning: While on 5 I saw like not one injury so I moved it to 6 and I'm seeing a few more injuries here and there and it feels more realistic

Settings wise don't matter much. I keep the CPU on all-star all around. I hope I can have some guys that love manager mode as much as I do try these out and please give me feedback back. I hope you enjoy these as well, they should be enjoyable to those that play manager mode on a frequent basis

Hey Tyner. Please try them out and give me your feedback asap. As far as quick counts go no only because if you want to pinch hit it sucks that that new hitter basically only has 1 chance to do something ya know? I mean I don't think using quick counts is that bad, that's the only downside subbing in a new hitter or sometimes a new relief pitcher but I may consider using quick counts a to speed up the season at times.

These current sliders are for No quick counts but I would imagine it wouldn't make a difference whether you use quick count or not with these sliders. Probably get the same thing

I'll give your sliders a try. In the last week the sliders I have been using (tweaks from someone else) have resulted in some very low scoring games and half of my positional players have gone cold.

I have not given your sliders a try yet ...

I've been using nomo17k's sliders for the last week or so with some interesting results. I just picked up the PS4 version of the game today at lunch and assuming the Season/Franchise Cloud download process works fine (knock on wood) I will have nomo's sliders already embedded in my Season file. I will save these slider settings and then jump to this web page and enter your slider settings into a new slider file and give them a try in the PS4 game for at least the next week and I will report back my impressions once I get some games under my belt. One thing we must always remember (especially with a sport such as baseball) is we can not judge one game. We need to play a boat load of games to let things average themselves out. Baseball is a cooky sport where one day one team wins 3-0 and on the next day the other team can win 12-5.
