Just played a full game with PARED's SLIDERS, What a game BUT the stats were ODD.

OK i was playing yankees(me) and Baltimore, it was a tight game at first but then i gave up a homerun to MORA so it was 1-0 in the first. they continued to beat(they scored 1 run in the first 3 innings) me until the 6 when i scored 2 so it was 3 to 2(them winning) .

i scored in the 6th 2 nd they replied with 2 more, so it was basically me and the cpu going at it. well to make a story i was ahead 7-4 by the end of the 8th( since i scored 4 in the 8th).

i bring out RIVERA in the 9th close it up and guess what the CPU did to me, these guys acted like they were looking for pay back cuz i had scored 4 on them. well they got back at me and SCORED 8!! including the game winning hit by Tejada ..They won 8 to 7...

it was a great game do. Like i told ya this game also had me thinking the sliders were sliding 1 side yet not that much since they were able to come with the win.

As you can obviously see HITTING seems RIGHT for the CPU but not for me, like if everything was right i should have had atleast 6 or so hits. oh forgot to tell ya this is on VETERAN(i just got the game 2 days ago), so i was wondering what if from pared's sliders i adjust the contact and power down a bit so maybe i can get a realistic amount of hits LIKE THEY GOT. what do you guys think?..

19 hits and 7 runs scored. That's hardly productive ... but still ... odd ...

Pared's sliders are for all star, you will get too many hits on veteran.

i tested AND NOTICED this, that with pared's sliders on ALLSTAR it is the other way around. the CPU gets way too many hits and you get hardly any, hell you can't even hit the ball most of the times. ponson struck me out like 21 times in 1 game!!! and it has been the same for everybody else that i face. unless you tell me a way to actually get hits on pared's allstar's sliders?, because on average i get like 5- to 6 and no runs! and the cpu gets like 15 or so, basically the boxscore(here) twist around their way.

That's exactly right. And don't worry if you can't hit well on All-star. As you spend more time with the game, your K's will go down and contact will increase, resulting eventually in more hits. But DAMN... 17 hits for the CPU... you HAVE to the throw the ball out of the zone a bit more...

With the sliders on veteran, i hit 19 hits. when i went back to Allstar they did 17 hits. oh btw ya i guess i should play this game more with these sliders on allstar and get confortable but sometimes i get frustrated cuz i can't even get contact with the ball.

also i must admit that went that 17 hits disaster happen i really didn't get the METER system for this game, but i am getting better at that now. I thought it was like the MVP one but it isn't, anyways i will spend more time and come back with my feedback pared. so far the only issue i have is stricking out 15+ times basically getting no contact.


but like i told you these sliders on allstars got the CPU acting legit, but it doesn't come off the same way for the HUMAN player even do the sliders are supposedly the same. i think on ALLSTAR the cpu are VERY good at 5 with contact and 13-15 with power since those sliders are set to the highest difficulty(allstar). so maybe 5 on contact for cpu= 10 or 15, while power at 13= 20 or something.

oh btw i tried putting contact/power all the way up and i still had problems getting contact with the ball, but i did that MID-GAME when i got pissed off after getting K'd 15 times; so take that with a grain of salt.

you were right pared!, i played another game with the mets and i got better contact as the game went along. it was an amazing game 2 TO 1 with me(yanks) vs mets leading towards the bottom of the 9th and there they scored 2 on me and beat me!.

i tell ya this game is TRUE TO LIFE, rivera blows yet another save for me as i lose yet another thriller(this is my second). and you know what else, when i was in that inning where i scored 2 runs of Pedro, the fool actually got pissed and HIT a couple of my players(Giambi in the butt and Posada in THE HEAD).

One thing bothered me do, Pedro struck me out like 15 times. it is an improvement over the first few games i played and got struck out like 20+ times, so i am getting better but anyways great sliders dawg!

ya it has been great, but what you think of those 15 strike out?. i wish i could reduce that, maybe 8 or 10 per game would be nice but not 15-22 like i been experiencing.
