The CPU trades are atrocious, they make no sense. And there are like 20 trades a week in April. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

This is all well and good but what he is talking about is the same issue I am having with my league. Have tried 3 different times now. Create an online franchise, upload roster, choose the latest roster, review it, everything looks great, activate the league, wait for it to load, the check the rosters and there are a ton of different overalls than what I confirmed when I uploaded. Specifically, Strasbourg goes from a 92 to a 72, and on the red Sox, a AAA closer is rated higher than koji. There are more but those are two specific ones. I'm assuming this is an online franchise league issue

are you loading rosters from the HDD or Roster Vault, if Vault then that is where your issues lie

League 162 ia moving along nicely, but one issue we're having is David Price (AI) started games 1 3 and 4 of the series against our Toronto guy.

We reset games 3 and 4, but the issue seems to be that the TB rotation has guys tired who've neber pitched! Thus, Price, who's tired too, is their best option.

Has anyone else seen this? Is there a workaround?

Perhaps we should just recruit a TB player...

I read elsewhere on OS that this is a known problem and the CPU wont always pitch based on its rotation and will have the same pitcher pitching multiple times in a series. I assume its something that needs to be patched as Ive seen it mentioned here a few times now.

Oh that's odd! I wonder if the 50% actually translates to in-game.

What we did to get around this was I switched to TB, I adjusted their depth chart to properly reflect other teams after game 2 (so 3, 4, 5, 1, 2), and now Matt Moore, although tired a bit, started game 3.

When you click X and select Load Rosters do the players on that screen change before you hit Options to upload?

I think they should, but I don't have it in front of me right now. I'll check when I can!

Re: A Few Issues With Online Franchise

So here's something odd that did NOT happen in my test league:

We are set to advance "1" series into the future so that 2 series are always open at one time. When I did a test sim, the weird 2 game Aussie series plus another series for all teams was open, and then when I did a test advance, the next 2 series were open. Perfect!

Now that we're live, we just advanced to series 3-4, but only series 3 was open. Upon advancing to series 3-4, I notice in the game que that some games between AI teams had yet to be played, along with some other single day "byes."

I simmed all of those games hoping it'd bump things and open up that series 4, but nope...only series 3 remains available.

I am pretty sure that if I advance the stage, in order to really clear out those qued games we just killed, it's going to also sim this series 3 which is available.

                      Or won't it? What the??!!

I am in a two player online league with my brother in a different state. he has a series before me (on the franchise schedule) but I would like to play the second game of my series. I have flex schedule and have a total of 8 games that the game is saying are playable. I hit x it goes to the choose sides screen and nothing happens I can't move left or right only bo back and have to reset the game or log out to reverse it. Any help on this issue? I haven't been able to find s*** online anywhere else. i have flex auto i tried not simming his game wouldnt work, tried simming it after a while still can't get it to let me choose sides and now there's no games in games list yet I have 8 games available to play. frustrating as hell and i have spent 4 hours the last two nights trying to figure this s*** out and it should not be this frustrating.

The CPU makes trades that are sometimes uneven and then have too many players on their roster, making the roster invalid. Also everytime they make a trade involving a pitcher, it resets their rotation so you see the same starting pitcher multiple times in a series. My best advice is to just have an all-user league because the cpu ai is broken..

So how do rotations and resting work, exactly? If I have two series open and a guy is to pitch game 2 of the first series, and then game game 3 of the next series, will he be tired if I pitch the second series game first?

                            Hopefully that makes sense!

Yes he will be tired, the game isnt able to project out and correct his fatigue. Your only real option is to just pitch your 1-5 regardless of what game it is on your schedule otherwise you will have to start guys who just pitched and are still fatigued.

Anyone know the fix for the games constantly not being counted? The league I'm in the games never record when you're playing another user. We play through the entire game and once exited the score resets to 0-0. I know the commish for the league can go in and give one team a win, but now it throws off the pitching match ups. Any ideas or thoughts are great! Thanks guys.
