Just played first online game...wow, it was bad.
Timing of batting = fine
Fielding = decently smooth
HOWEVER, different results of plays would show on my screen, compared to my partners. For example, he tried to pick me off on 3rd base and on my tv the ball went over the head of the 3rd basemen and started to travel down toward left field. So, I clicked L1 to advance my runner home, but then the screen flickers and it says im out. Apparently, the ball never went past the 3rd basemen, he had it the whole time...
We had a few other similar issues happen.

Its still hit or miss. There is still warping and things happening on screen that is not actually taking place. Hard freezes still there, and game ending glitches still can occur. Blue screen error code will disconnect a game every now and then.Comment

Have not had as much iffy games the key is to let the cut scenes play out once u skip the cut scenes it's like the game never fully catches up to what's happening and stupid stuff happens.. We set our league to quick play.

The online league im in is fast play as well. I play about 3 to 5 games online franchise every day. These issues need to be addressed by a patch. The latest patch did not correct the warping or the gameplay relaying whats actual happening on screen when the opponent is fielding and your running the bases. It did not correct the hard freezes, or glitch ending sequences that can happen in the batters box.
If anyone is getting the game to play soley online i would just wait until the next major patch. You can have great games going into the 7th 8th or 9th only for something to happen on occasion to end the game before time. The warping and syncing of whats actually happening on screen is something you will have to endure if getting the game now.Comment

Baserunning is still atorcious (runners won't advance as they should at the crack off the bat, standing there in no mans land til you tell them to go)
Still weird desyncing issues in the field. One guy will see an error, and send runners, while there is no error and he is out. Plays at the plate look way safe to one player while an easy out to the other.
If they fix these issues to allow us to play small ball, Id love this game for the most part. As it is now, its all HRs or nothing sometimesComment

Desyncing happens a lot for me. I don't know when to send my runners because I'm not sure if I should believe what I'm seeing. It's not playable for me because of this.Comment

Online is about as much fun as a root canal.
Just finished a game in which I had no idea when I was supposed to swing at a pitch. On pitches I was clearly late on, the game said I was early or very early. Am I supposed to swing after the ball goes by me? I think I'm done for a while.Comment

I was getting really burned out on playing offline so I decided to try online. It was choppy for my half of the inning at bat. I got a hit and then about 4 fouls in a row leading to a double play. Ok, my turn to pitch. About 6 fouls later he gets a base hit. Tries to steal and I get him in a run down. With the lag I was only able to go back and forth between 1rst and 2nd about 5 times before he was back to first safe. About another 10 foul balls later the game froze.

Not good for me, as well. I've played my cousin three times and we've never been able to complete a full game without getting disconnected. The first two matches were one week after the game came out and we just played our third a couple minutes ago. This isComment

As I was saying, this is very frustrating because playing online against him was the biggest reason I purchased the game. With that being said, I'm enjoying the offline experience very much.Comment
