Good afternoon baseball fans! I normally do not post on the forum and am not very open about doing roster and face creation. However, after a couple years away from MLB the show, with my last game played in 20 or 21 (?), I have decided with my life being a little more settled with work and schooling and CEUs, that I wanted to dive in again and do a rebuild. I am sure some of you have seen all the players I have posted under the username on PSN of BMAN25DAVIS. I am an avid franchise player. I play a full season. All 162 games plus playoffs if I make it. I always choose a team sort of in the middle, where they could rebuild, if they struggle, but also could still be viable. This year the CAPS so far that I have created and posted are from the Washington Nationals, my favorite team, and the St. Louis Cardinals, my chosen franchise team for 2025. Now, I am also a Yankees fan (yes, I know. Grew up in a Yankee household and learned baseball by watching them. As well as New York family members), however, there are already so many CAPS for their prospects that I didn’t find them to be a priority. I have seen where some people’s favorite teams, such as the tigers, White Sox, Mets, etc., have already been done. You may also notice I did a few marlins players. You are free to use them as you see fit. Whether you want them for your personal roster or for roster creators on here, FTFR, FFM and True Sim, please feel free to use them. I believe in realism in MLB THE SHOW. So for me that means prospects that can grow and develop within a franchise. Now, I’m not perfect, but I try to get the face and equipment as close as possible. Ratings I normally don’t agonize over.
Now, another reason I posted this thread, is because I am sort of stuck with who/what team I should do next. Most top prospects and 40 man players I see have been done. Not all, but most. So, I am willing to take suggestions or comments on CAPS. I started doing the Marlins 40 man players, and got tired easily. Maybe it was the fact that I did 2 teams worth of minor league players and prospects in a 3 week-ish span. However, I love this game, and believe when the rosters are of top quality, you see the storylines, especially in road to the show and franchise pop. Feel free to weigh in and comment on what you all think. Totally up to work with anyone and do what I can with CAP creation!
