Re: MLB THE SHOW 25 - POSITIONAL CHANGES NEEDED
They removed these positions on purpose since many of these players haven’t been at the secondary positions in years or just played them as an outlier. They did this to make it more realistic and allow utility guys to have more value like they do in MLB.
For example you list Jose Siri as 1B/3B, but he’s never played 3B at the MLB level (played only 2 games there in MiLB) and played exactly 1 inning at 1B last year due to defensive changes. So just giving context as to why they were removed. -

Thats not why they removed them because several other players have there exact positions.
Some on this list yes haven't played in a while but they can. Springer started CF day 1 this year but only has RF. Michael.A. Taylor only has CF but started day 1 in LF.
And all the rookies have exactly there positions in most cases just for whatever reason some of these outfielders were removed but other vets have there's. I think it was a new information issue and these players i mention in this message wasn't added for whatever reason.
Everyone has different views when it comes to positions and thats fine but I still believe MLB or minors if they have ever played it in there career they should have it.Youtube: https://youtube.com/@mlbnetworkleagu..._hz5M86fl-FbW4

The players with multiple position have played those other positions a higher percentage of the time in real life, hence why Willy Castro has a ton of position availability.
Nothing wrong with the list you have and the method you want to use for your roster, but just explaining that it was specifically done by design as mentioned by the SDS team.Comment

I agree that they should take away some of the secondary positions, but not all of them. Since Jose Siri was brought up, for example, sure he should not have 1B or 3B as secondaries. But to also take away LF and RF is silly. Honestly, anyone that has CF as their primary should have LF and RF as secondaries, even if they’ve never played them.
