Ability to transfer roster files from year to year?

I did my best to find an answer with the search option, but nothing I deemed relevant came up. Forgive me if this has been answered.

I am hoping that since we can transfer dynasty files from one game to the next, it will give us the ability to transfer roster files from one game to the next as well. I don't know if this will be added, or if we will have to find a "glitch" or loop-hole in order to make this work.

The reason I want to find a way to do this is so I can not only remake my 1996 roster like I did in 2012, but also so I can work on a "catalog" so to speak, spanning the 90's. (Start with 1996, do 1997, 1998, then maybe 1995, 1999, etc...)

Having the option to do this only once and keep transferring (and therefore making it an ever evolving project to shoot for 100% vintage authenticity) would be amazing.

If anyone has a definite answer or may know if this is somehow possible, please let me know.

i will answer your question to avoid some harsh responses, as this has been asked and answered hundreds of times already, but your Roster File will be accessible by any and all future iterations of the game. So you can use it in future releases. Good luck.

I know Franchise files have been confirmed.

Yeah I think you're right, only the franchise rosters have been confirmed to transfer. Nowhere have I seen it confirmed that just the simple roster files will be transferrable. Whomever said that it was asked hundreds of times really ought to provide a source to back up his statement in this circumstance.

more importantly, even if we can't... can we export players from a franchise file that is transfered over? if we can do that (sure it'll take a few hours) but that would be good enough for me.
