OSFM Wonderings

I was wondering with the Next Gen debuting this year; will the OSFM guys be using the same roster for PS3 as they will on PS4 or will these be two separate projects? Will the difference in hardware between the two games cause any issues in carrying rosters over? OR are the OSFM guys going to create a new independent roster for the PS4 version of the game?

It'll be the same as the roster file is transferable between both systems. We don't know yet what issues there will be if any at all. I am sure they will make adjustments to facial hair as that may be different on both consoles and any other discrepancy that may arise.

Just curious, does that mean the OSFM roster will be ready to download soon after the PS4 version officially drops on Tuesday? Would love to be able to start my franchise as soon as possible to achieve my yearly goal of 162 games. Y'all are awesome and all your work is much appreciated!

It's possible. They have to make a few adjustments to some players and as long as that gets ironed out quickly it's looking good for Tuesday.

Could be possible as knight said in the main thread he already has the ps4.verzion , so Tuesday could be possible , that is my hope

That's for the ps3 version.

They have some small tweaks to make before it will be ready for ps4 from my understanding (not much).

Yeah Knight said they'll need to change facial hair for some guys and skin color, but overall everything looks good he said.

They are the same....
Whether anything needs attention..for the PS4(it seems not...the faces are translating excellently IMO) will be for when we can test it out fully on the4.

Im assuming its good to go for both tomorrow. He said in an earlier post that all thqt needed possible attention was changing some facial hair possibly which I can do myself if needed. Vita ps3 and ps4 all share the same vault as far as im told.

Even if the "official" osfm version for ps4 isn't complete by tuesday you can still take the ps3 version and use it instead for the ps4?
(if the ps3 osfm is finished tuesday and you can't wait to start your franchise)

Yes they made files transferable between ps3 and ps4.

Yes ive been using it. Me and a couple people have had issues with some players showing up with black faces or black spots. In game seems fine for me so far it just happens in edit player in manage roster. I havent done extensive testing yet however.

only other thing I noticed is because full beard c is different than ps3 I went through all the teams and changed those beards because full beard c on ps4 is super long. It honestly didnt take long.

The black face issue only seems to be SCEA players and not OSFM guys.
