Roster Editing : Putting players on waivers

I don't know if it belongs here, if not, please move it to the right place. Thanks.

It's my first time trying to play around with rosters in MLB The Show and I'm doing it in Roster Control menu. I've got no problem making trades 1 on 1 or importing a player.

My problem is how do you move players to free agency? Is there a way to make a trade without it to be 1 on 1?

Maybe dumb questions, but I can't figure how to do so. Thanks again.

Nope you'll always have to do 1 for 1 from the front end. The only way to release a player without replacing him with another is in season and franchise mode.
