SBFM(OS) roster discussion

Mizzou, first of all...hats off to you sir. This takes a true advocate of perfection to complete and I wish I had the patience to do every team (I usually just fix up the Mets players)


Question for you is, how many games/seasons/etc will you be testing to see before the release? I saw you did some initial testing, but was curious if/when you've made tweaks on that end. Anxiously awaiting this set, it will hopefully take the place of all the online game frustration I've had with the crashing/freezing.

I will test multiple times until I get things how I want them.. As far as minor league ratings go..

For prospects I have good info on such as eta of mlb time that's how they are rated.


I come up with their base rating. And then I tweak off of that rating which is formulated by what league of minors they are in.. I tweak it to make them around their actual eta of being mlb ready.. For instance

Polanco is 84 overall based of steamers projections.

Taveras is 78 overall

But say a guy is a top prospect due to raw intitial ability but has an eta of 2017

He's going to be in the lower 60 overall range.. Because he has work to do to master his prospect rating.

Do you have any sort of system you use for fixing the Mets players to come up with their ratings? With the rosters I'm using every pitcher on the staff is a 79 or lower except Harvey, I'd like to fix that but I'm afraid I'm going to homer up my pitching staff too much. Hopefully these rosters will fix that a bit once they are completed.

U have some good pitchers now no worries. Just chill relax and wait for the present to be released

How do you handle the rerated for guys like Shane Greene? 1 good start 1 stellar start but not considered a top prospect and was having an average year in AAA. He looks like he's got the stuff but in such a small sample size. i in wouldn't even no where to begin with rerating a guy like that.

I would weigh in his minor league stats with his projected steamers stats within a 3-4 year time span.

Minor league ratings is taking a while I want to make sure everything is good.. Not rushing thru it. I'm gonna try to find as much info on minor league pitchers as I can as well such as velocity and control.. Won't be able to find it all but I'm going to do my best.

I appreciate the effort.. I wish i could transfer my roster from ps3 over took me forever to get it right and that was mainly worrying about 1 team plus A prospects

Well it's a lot of damn work man.. I've edited/created over 1500 faces and it is not an easy task.. Not to mention even inputting ratings scouting these players finding as much info as u possibly can on everyone.. It's not a simple job.. I definitely am ready to be done lol.
