Re: 2015 Chicago Cubs
Instead of making a whole new list, can I just bother you if these players are included as well between the OSFM and the Extras Roster:

Re: 2015 Chicago Cubs
Thanks so much. I am going to be a happy man for the next year. This is the only game I play that doesn't lose its replay ability throughout the year. Worth the money every time.Comment

Re: 2015 Chicago Cubs
So I have been thinking of how I will get all of our best prospects on the field at the same time in my franchise mode, mainly getting Addison Russell and Kris Bryant into my lineup as fast as possible, what positions do I put them at? Many might say to trade Starlin Castro, but I have no desire to move him as he is a good hitter and has a very team friendly long term contract. It would be a waist not to play Russell at SS since he is clearly the best fielder, but what to do then with Castro. An easy solution is to move him to second, or third, but why not do what Boston did with Hanley Ramirez, and switch him to left. Addison Russell and Tommy La Stella (or Javier Baez) can man the interior, Kris Bryant would stay at his primary position, and we would move a good enough athlete out to left field and keep all the best bats in the game, it would look something like this:
C Miguel Montero / David Ross / Wellington Castillo
1B Anthony Rizzo
2B Tommy La Stella / Arismendy Alcantara / (Maybe Javier Baez)
3B Kris Bryant
SS Addison Russell
LF Starlin Castro / Chris Denorfia / Chris Coghlan
CF Dexter Fowler
RF Jorge Soler
another option would be to move Bryant to LF and either shift Castro or Russell to 3rd base.
The player versatility gives us lots of options, especially when players start to get tired and need a day off, it is easy to keep a good lineup in.
What do you guys plan to do to get your best players on the field?Comment

Re: 2015 Chicago Cubs
Some interesting developments going on as I wrap up the roster. Hopefully I can finish up when I get home from work. Once I finish the 90 man today I'll hand it over to ItAllFades for any last minute touchups he wants to do on the faces and then hand it in.
According to AZ Phil
- Frank Batista looks to be transitioning to SP at Tennessee, possibly piggybacking with Edwards.
- Pierce Johnson was not on either the AAA or AA rosters and AZ Phil suspects he may have been injured.
- Barrett Loux will start this year at Iowa, perhaps due to Johnson's injury.
- Drake Britton may get stretched out to start as well and piggyback with Negrin.
- Teagarden is not on the AAA roster and as of now Taylor Davis will be on the opening 90 day roster.
Also a few players are not on any roster like Bard, DeLeon, Carter so who knows if they will be added to a roster later on. But for now I have replaced them with the higher ranked single A pitchers that probably deserve to be there. But if the OSFM crew wants to replace them they can, but Bard, Carter and DeLeon may have been released for all we know.
AAA:
SP: Roach, Jokisch, Pimentel, Loux, Negrin, Britton
RP: Parker, Schlitter, Cooper, Germen, Rivero, Ortiz, Rosscup

Re: 2015 Chicago Cubs
That makes me very happy. I was sad to see him leave.
With the way our rosters are turning out, I will probably play the AAA games for my franchise too instead of summing all the minor league gamesComment
