MrOldBoy is going to be releasing his "Cubs Extras" roster within the next couple days. It should have those two and more

Going to download these in the AM, but I am curious, why would Bryant be on A? Because its expected that a lot of people will push him up to the majors, thus leaving the AAA roster closer to what it will be after Bryant's IRL call up?

Yep, wasn't paying attention today and missed the OSFM release. It'll have most if not all the top 30 BA and MLB.com prospects that were not in OSFM like Cease for example. I'll try to get at least one alternative at each position. i.e. Brockmeyer for C, Lockhart for 2B, Penalver for SS and so on.

          SP Paul Blackburn
          SP Trevor Clifton
          SP Daurry Torrez
          SP Carson Sands
          SP Justin Steele
          SP Dylan Cease
          SP Andres Santiago
          SP Jonathan Martinez
          SP Lars Huijer
          RP PJ Francescon
RP Jorge De Leon (should be able to export him from the SCEA roster)
          RP Erling Moreno
          C Cael Brockmeyer
          LF Mark Zagunis
          CF Kevonte Mitchell
          RF Jeffrey Baez

Once you guys know when this roster is coming out, can you let us know.

          Thanks again.
They are in the Cubs extras, most already have a face done by ItAllFades. Huijer went back to the Netherlands I believe and I think De Leon was released.

Some of those like Mitchell, Zagunis and Steele were in the OSFM roster I submitted. Haven't had a chance to look at the released roster yet though.

Some suggestions then if you are trying to get an extra from every position:

            C Cael Brockmeyer
            C/2B Gioskar Amaya
            1B Danny Canela
            2B Andrew Ely
            3B Wes Darvill
            SS Carlos Penalver
            LF Mark Zagunis
            CF Kevonte Mitchell
            RF Jeffrey Baez

The pitchers from my last list I think would be plenty unless someone else requests someone different. These are all just off the top of my head. Hope to see the rosters soon.

On to some really good news Cubs fans, we have a winning record. I don't know how many times we are going to be able to say that this year, so I am living it up now. At the rate they are leaving base runners stranded, this may not last long, until then though, it's good to be a Cubs fan.

You're right. Jorge De Leon is in the Dodgers system now. I can't find anything on Lars Huijer though, I will just assume you're right.

                Re: 2015 Chicago Cubs

If anyone has any odd suggestions for Cubs Extras throw them out there. I'm probably going to limit the total to around 25-30 or so. Top draft picks from last year are good options maybe. I'll try to fill out the top 30 prospects that didn't make it into OSFM first though.

I'm going to work on these tonight with the ratings and equipment at stuff. If I finish up the ones that already have faces I'll just put them up as a pack 1 or something. Then ones without faces I'll put out if ItAllFades wants to make faces for those guys.

Keep in mind I will rate these guys similar to how the OSFM crew has rated similar prospects to keep them in line with OSFM. When the Hybrid is released they may not fit as well so also keep that in mind if you are importing into other rosters. To be honest though most of these extra prospects are not that highly rated and won't affect your franchises/RTTS that much unless they get a potential bump during your playthrough.

Also for pitchers I could use some basic scout reports on their pitch types. i.e So and so said that Player X has a 92-94 fastball with some run and a 84-87 circle change. Stuff like that can help and is sometimes hidden in tiny game summaries and such that bloggers and scouts post about. This is especially hard to find for lower level pitchers.

I'd like at least a couple AA relief pitchers as I don't like using my class A starters in my AA bullpen.

RP PJ Francescon and RP Stephen Perakslis would be good choices for that description.

Soler definitely has more power than his rating for now I tweaked it
                          Potential 97
                          Contact v R 63
                          Contact v L 65
                          Power v R 66
Power V L 70 (could probably go as high as 75 for now)
The I upped everything a notch especially his fielding as he's not only got a rocket arm but accurate. Brought his rating from 77 to 79 where he should be. The guy should be rated more like 80-83 but I won't over power him just yet.

That's very similar to what I did... Didn't mess with his arm tho.... After the other day I think I need to.... The Cuban Canon!

Cuban Cannon! Love it! His fielding ability needs to be tweaked altogether especially his reaction to pop flies. He doesn't react well as is and he clearly plays better in real life. Also upgraded Fowlers speed to like 73 and made Kyle Kendricks potential the minimal B and upped his rating as I think the OSM guys botched his ratings all around. Not dragging them down about it but he's better than 66, much better. Unfortunately they got Castros fielding on point as he has been an error machine for me but that's the reality. If he keeps hitting like he is I can handle his fielding errors. Also upgraded Castillos potential from C to B. Same with Coghlan, solid player not getting his due in this game.

All of these players you are talking about were not rated by OSFM (not OSM). These are players from the default roster and they don't touch their ratings, only the minor leaguers who are not in the game. If you are going to blame anyone for any of these ratings, I recommend going to The Shows website forum and blaming SCEA. OSFM did an outstanding job with these rosters
