I have him at 85 potential

    60/48 contact (R/L)
    73/66 power
    45 plate vision
    77 plate discipline

I think everything else is untouched.

He is a 70 overall as a catcher. Becomes a 73 if you move him to LF

    Reasoning behind upgrades:

In my roster, Bryant is at:

    57/62 contact
    87/86 power
    32 vision
    80 disc.

These ratings give Schwarber roughly the same contact skills, but slightly reduced. The power is obviously reduced and I think it is fair rating for him, yet I also think that part of me is being cautious with him and trying to keep him from becoming overrated.

The vision and discipline are pretty good numbers.

45 vision gives him the ability to limit strikeouts compared to Bryant, which is the way their numbers have played out (in AA at least).

77 discipline gives him a batters eye roughly equal to Bryant, which I believe is fair. Schwarber is taking a ridiculous amount of walks in AA right now, so a high discipline number seems to be warranted, even for a prospect.

These numbers seem to hold up to testing, as Schwarber progresses just about as well as one would expect him to.

I also increased Russell's defensive ability, and hitting slightly.

Decreased just about everything about Castro.

Left Baez right about where he started.

Ian Happ is a 64 overall 2B with 80 potential.

Rizzo is an 89 overall with 80/75 contact, 80/75 power, and 55/80 vision/disc.

Upgraded Hammel slightly. 79 stamina, 65 H/9, 57 K/9, 72 BB/9, 65 HR/9....he has really been the ace of the Cubs staff so far in 2015.

Soler is at 61/59 con., 63/65 power, 35/62 vis/disp. with downgraded fielding and reaction, but an upgraded arm.

Increased Alcantara slightly in the field.

And I increased Montero's hitting ability against RHP.

My base was Willard's 1.2 revision.

One of the bigger ratings changes that seem to be getting overlooked by everyone are the stealing abilities and baserunning abilities of Anthony Rizzo and Kris Bryant. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

Upgrade stealing ability and base running aggressiveness. I wouldnt add any speed for Rizzo, but maybe for Bryant.

I'm using Glen Perkins. I based it off of videos of him. I don't like how he leans forward before coming set but everything else looked good.

Not exactly "2015 Chicago Cubs" topic...but....

I have been putting together an All-Time Cubs roster (ALL-TIME GREATS roster is the base, so the rest of the teams are all-time teams as well).

I added a ton of guys from 2008, 2003, and most of the 1969'ers were already in place. Also added some guys from 84 and 89 too.

                      J. Hickman

For those keeping track, yes, you can fill out a roster entirely with 2008 and 1969 lineups. 2003 and 1984, 1989 lineups are not as complete.

I have 11 more spots that are not filled yet.

If you have suggestions or comments, let me know.

Only glaring omission I see is Moises Alou. Corey Patterson could also be added.

Do you have any idea if there is a roster that I could find Patterson on?

I checked on a 2001 roster, but he wasnt on it. I have been looking for him.
