Like to give a big thanks to everyone helping with these rosters. I've helped in the past with the Padres and it is really a daunting task. Shout out to Teeds for taking on the Pads this year.

This may or may not have been brought up before, but what are we planning on doing for ST invites and their contract status? Some players get more money if they make the MLB club than if they are sent to the minors.

For example, Brad Penny is set to receive $100K if he gets sent to the minors (he has an opt out clause for 6/1), but if he makes the MLB club (which seems likely with Sale's injury) it is believed he will receive $1.5M. Jesse Crain and Matt Albers signed similar deals with the Sox. Do we want to just give them the larger amount considering contracts are not editable once you start a franchise? I'm all for giving them the higher end of their deals even if they are stashed in Triple-A. After all, it is only a 1 year deal (not like vesting options that don't take effect years down the road). How does everyone else feel about that?

If you do get the game tomorrow and you still have MLB 14 then can you test this out for us? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know if anyone realizes this, but you can save yourselves hours of work by using the Y2y saves feature for your rosters. A day before MLB 15 the Show comes out start a franchise with MLB 14 the Show with the latest Hybrid rosters and select "CPU CONTROL ON". This will give you the ability to export individual players in that franchise and import them directly into a new roster set outside franchise mode.

From here all you need to do is update their accessories.

I actually asked another OS user (I'm not going to give his name) to check in on this since he'll have the game in the next 2 days he said he'll do it. So hopefully by Wednesday we'll have a definitive answer.

Hey everyone, even if this system does work, which I really hope it does - there is not guarantee it will allow us to release faster than the past because there will still need to be players created and equipment edited which we really don't have any concept of how much time that will take.

But I am hoping like everyone that it does cut the time in half and allows us to salvage our hard work from last year

Great find with this workaround. Willard76 great job keeping everyone updated on the process. EVERYONE needs to be on the same page to the expedite this set as quickly as possible. That means the guidelines for which roster to use as set down by Knight and Willard76 need to be followed. Any questions on which set let us know and we will point you in the right direction. But like these guys have said start on your teams now using
1- correct roster
2- correct workaround

Get the team to me as soon as it is 100%... If it needs faces, etc get them to the guy doing those for your team... Coordinate now so it's not an unorganized mess next week. When teams are 100% the file needs to be sent to me for importing on the master set.... Good luck and we should be playing pretty quick this year!

Here's some potential good news. It's wait and see obviously and nothing set in stone at this point........

Any real players not created by us won't be updated, and only the players created by us in the original roster you used to start your franchise or rtts will be updated. We will investigate a possible player import feature in a patch or for MLB 16. Nothing is confirmed or set in stone though.

Ramone....I have to ask for clarification.
Do you mean possibly adding in import for '15 in a patch? You said 16, but I'm guessing you wouldn't talk about a patch for next year's game.
