The OSFM only edits and creates missing minor league players. The Hybrid edits all aspects of the roster

Do transferable saves give you the opportunity to work on the rosters before the game comes out? Can you use last seasons rosters as a base?

I don't think so but they have started working on it fixing faces, ratings, etc. Because we can't carry rosters over this year. But I think they are going to try to go get it in for next year

We can use last year's roster as a transfer per say, but we are using it to copy from and as a base for this year. Not sure if it will speed up release but it will allow for release of a much better product

Please don't laugh at me .. but usually what is the file's name of the OSFM so I can download it when it comes out?

I'm used to start a franchise right away, but now, I want to wait until it comes out ( I'm planning to pick the Cubs) and I want all prospects to be in.

From my understanding, I'm better of waiting for the Hybrid because there's the combo 'Prospects in + faces, batting stances and so on''. Am I right?

The difference between hybrid and "stock" OSFM is that the hybrid changes the ratings of the SCEA roster and prospects by using ZiPS projections and other things of the like to get more realistic results. The stock OSFM roster has all prospects, faces, ratings, stances, equipment,etc. but it doesn't touch the SCEA players. Except for maybe some better faces. But other than that it doesn't touch the SCEA players. I think the prospects ratings are the same for both rosters but I am not positive. And I don't remember the name but the original roster is always the first roster when you search by # of downloads. And it is usually under the name Knight165. But I don't know whose name it will be under this year, if it isn't Knight again.
