If you include these guys. Casey Crosby, Luke Montz, Henry Rodriguez, Luis Martinez, Mitchell Boggs, Bryan LaHair will need service time.

Daniel seems to be changing to a strictly left-handed hitter. He is the lineup today against the Mets. And is facing Niese a lefty and he is hitting from the left side.

      Add tekotte to Showtyme's list.

It will be myself or Ridin you are sending the roster to, so I will add those 2 faces in before import into the roster

Re: OSFM 2015 - RED SOX

Really looking forward to this. Especially since the Sox signed Moncada.

I don't know if you've already determined what prospects you'll include (since unfortunately, we can't just have all of them), but if you haven't, I'm hoping you can find the room to include these guys (all of which are below AA and not in the SP top 20 list, so I get if they don't make the cut): Danny Mars, Jake Cosart, Dedgar Jimenez, the Basabe twins, Anderson Espinoza, and Christopher Acosta. (Also, technically Moncada, as he's not in the SP top 20 yet, but I know he'll be in)

I know I just requested a good deal of players.

Even if they don't make the cut, I'm looking forward to seeing the Sox portion of the OSFM roster. You do great work on this every year, and that makes my franchise and RTTS that much more enjoyable, thanks for all the work you do.

Victorino is listed as strictly RH in the game, which it should be. But on the ootb rosters Nava is still listed as switch but is going strictly LH this year. Might get fixed in a roster update though.

Off that second link their AAA team is STACKED at every position. It also illustrates the phases of development as Portland really sucks. Margot, Devers, Travis and others will help soon but it's all guys on the cusp or guys 2+ yrs away.

Also wonder how good guys like Shaw and Coyle really are. I'm personally a big fan of both but they're blocked by bigger names. Interested to see who emerges from this deep deep system.

Shaw is not really blocked because Napoli's contract is up after this season. But Coyle is completely blocked by more than 1 guy at both positions he can play. At second he is blocked by Pedroia, and Moncada. At third it's Panda, Cecchini, and possibly Moncada or Bogaerts.

Shaw is blocked but he isn't. Napoli may be leaving at the end of the year, sure, but there are so many options that I think I'd rather go with than Shaw, in 2016 and beyond.

You have Allen Craig, who is looking like more of a lock to stay with each passing day. Then there are guys who don't play first base (now, or ever) that could end up pushing guys like Sandoval or Hanley over to play first in a couple years.

Shaw isn't "truly" blocked, in the sense that the guy who is starting is leaving, but he is blocked by the fact there are more important players and prospects ahead of him on the overall depth chart. You just find room to play those guys, and worry about guys like Shaw later if you can fit them in behind the most important guys (think JBJ, but not quite to that extent)

TNKNGM, I'm super freakish about accessories, stances, and deliveries, if u think u need any help in that area please let me know. Years ago I use to do a roster set for MLB 2K 7 and 8. Can't remember the guy I did it with but it was fun. Later

what is the thinking going to be when it comes to the creation of Moncada? A lot of scouts have said he has the potential to be a stud in the league so I was wondering what the creators were thinking of giving him as ratings? and also what position would be his main upon completion (SS? 3B? OF?)

With Vazquez likely out for the year, Sox have traded for Catcher Sandy Leon from the Nats
