I think the best option if everyone agrees to this is I will post the most updated version I have been working on - I have not been trading or moving players to any teams recently, just doing faces.

I will create a Google doc that you can go in and list changes in the next day or 2

Make note of changes you want to make including player transactions, jersey numbers, ratings changes, stances/motions etc

Also note new players you will be creating to add/replace a player in the current roster or a player you have done a new face for.

I will form a team of guys to work on the changes once they come in and then get them added to the roster.

As more ideas get discussed on how to deal with this we will tackle them.

Basically this means spend the next week and a bit getting your roster ready so we can start importing on Day 1.

I will post the roster in the vault by end of day tomorrow as well as getting the spreadsheet out for everyone.

I say just keep updating the latest hybrid roster. The prospects are pretty accurate there. Basically do all the editing now so that the only thing that is left after importing them is updating their accessories when 2015 comes out. Also check out some of motown's CAPS in the vault. They are spot on.

Motown's work is constantly being added to the WIP roster - I just need to go back and fix players who I didn't add service time to.

        But that is the plan.

You saved us a ton of time. Thank you

What if you gave each roster team the MLB14 roster you want to use right before MLB 15 comes out. Then we can put it into MLB 15 and export/import into and make all the adjustments we need to make and create any new players we need then send the roster file to you or whoever we need to.

I am just concerned because when 15 comes out there are going to be new and updated stances/deliveries, and the licensed equipment. I would feel more comfortable making those changes when MLB 15 comes out.

Idk if you've been following the carryover save thread, but stances (For SCEA Players) and equipment will automatically be updated when using y2y saves. The only stances and equipment that will need to be changed is for created players and any SCEA player that might have switched gear this off season.

I would say....everyone get THE roster from either Willard....Ridin or myself.....update it with ratings.....then convert it into 15....make any stance/ equip updates....export the players and send them to Willard/ridin for importing.

ya I know that, sorry I was not clear, I am only talking about created players. Say someone used Starling Marte's stance from last year for a created player, well Marte's stance has been updated for MLB 15 and no longer reflects the created player's stance. Make sense?

Also a lot of the players we created last year have changed stances/deliveries and equipment (new in game licensed equipment too) that will need updated. I would like to be able to go through all the players again and update equipment and motions. I have done a ton or research doing spring training games.

I know what you're saying and whatever players got new deliveries and stances for 15 will update with your created player as well using y2y saves.

                    EXAMPLES:
Lets say you gave Austin Meadows Starling Marte's stance in MLB 14. Lets say Marte got an updated stance for MLB 15. Using Y2Y saves both Marte and Meadows will get the updated version of the stance. Does that Make Sense?

Jorge Polanco had to be created in MLB 14. Using Y2Y saves (From my understanding) His stance will automatically be applied to him in MLB 15.

Even using this new loophole you'll still be able change anything you'd like. The loophole just creates less work and you don't have to start all the way from scratch. Unless you want to of course.

I like this way too. This will save time for faces/info and only need changes, like hair length, number changes, position changes, etc. And stances/equipment updates.

I just don't like the idea of using MLB 14 CAPs for 15 without using MLB 15 to update them by each roster team.

and yes awesome find by MLB!

And we were going to have to edit each created player in 2015 anyway to give them licensed equipment, so there is still work to be done. That's why I'm saying get everything else you can done for 2014, like updating player ages, hair, facial hair etc.

Ya I see what you mean, but my point is I will not want to use Marte's UPDATED stance for meadows anymore because it will be different. i will need to find a new stance for Meadows.

Yeah and that wont be difficult to do. It'll be time consuming obviously, but you're going to have to make adjustments to certain players anyways regardless.

I agree. Basically what I would like to see is each roster team gets a chance to update all the players before sending them to willard/ridin for importing into the final OSFM 15 roster.
