First off, please don't ever refer to cancer in any light hearted way. I understand that is and has been a common cliche and reference for many years, I am currently living in a situation where I see children fighting cancer every day and have realized myself that nothing can be compared to cancer in sports or really any other part of life.

Secondly, maybe I mistook the question the user was asking, but I saw it as someone asking for our work early so he can complete his own roster project - which would warrant a reply such as the one I gave.

I have watched the work of this project being taken and passed off as people's own for years now and as someone who puts well over 100 hours of my own free time into this project every year, it ticks me off just slightly.

Most of the time i just read through the posts. I may"like" one here or there. I just wanted to say that your work on the rosters are greatly appreciated. I could not imagine playing without them.

So I have been a member here for a while now and I usually am just a lurker. I like to read the threads and see if anyone has any great insights on this fantastic game. This thread has turned a bit ugly and I feel compelled to add my 2 cents. You guys and your work on the OSFM rosters each and every year have become invaluable to me and my friends. Please know that many, many, many of us out here love and appreciate what you do to give us the most accurate MLB and MiLB rosters each and every year. Disregard the impatient, immature, and impotent dullards that cannot fathom the work that goes into this creative process. Keep doing the ridiculously great work and I look forward to this weekend when I see that comforting OSFM roster in the vault on PS4. Again, cheers and thank you so very, very, very much.

Did you guys decide on a roster cutoff date for the set? You going Opening Day?

Ok guys everyone on this project is overworked at this point. We are Very close. I received another team during the night and am expecting a few today and the rest tomorrow. With that being said, please show courtesy and respect to the roster makers as myself, Willard and Teeds alone have poured probably over 300 hours into it. This has been a huge collaboration and trust me when you see the finished product you will understand. There is no set day/time as of yet. We are aiming for this weekend and still are for V1. When I know specifics Willard and myself will put it on our twitters and put a thread up in here.

As one of the original 'chise guys', this collabo is something I look forward to every year. Now, THAT BEING SAID, while I understand the amount of work that goes into it, I've also in recent years notice a HUGE increase in the amount of bad demeanor and vitriol from the roster makers themselves. Its a level of arrogance that I don't quite understand. This is especially true for the Hybrid Rosters, which I personally DO NOT care for anymore, particularly due to the unprofessional nature in that thread - which normally irks me.

In past years, I've always tried to donate toward this project in some fashion. However, this year, I am seriously considering withholding MY dollar. At the end of the days boys, it's only a video game. The work is appreciated, but your entitlement is not. Sometimes I think perspective is in order. Just my two cents from the donut gallery.

So you're a big fan of these rosters, yet knock the people creating them? They don't have do this for us, just like you don't have to download the rosters. They made the rosters their way and take pride in it. Wouldn't you take pride in something you put a lot of your time it and it came out great? The creators of these rosters can act however they want. Like I said, they don't have to make them for all of us, they choose to because it allows us to enjoy the game more.

Alright guys, let's do our best to not force Millennium to shut this thread down, too. It's clear that we don't all agree on who "has the moral high ground" or whatever, but how about we all (that goes for me too, I guess lol) try to do without the finger wagging/inflammatory/abrasive posts from both sides for just a little while longer?

Guys a lot of the negativity came from some very tired guys acting like people with a general lack of sleep. We are all good again and working hard towards an amazing project. Maybe we pushed forward a little hard and aggressively this year to get it done faster than normal, but we are now close to having it done.

The big problem this year was created by some disorganization caused by discoveries with the work around last minute and a few other things.

Like I said we are all good and on the same page now. Can't wait to get these out myself.
