Don't jump down my throat but Ive been seeing that the Hybrid will adjust ratings for SCEA players. Will these edits include stances/deliveries as well or will that come in V2, V3, etc, or through a stance/delivery edit thread? Sorry if its been addressed but hadnt come across it. Thanks again for the rosters.

The first will be a quick version that will come out relatively soon to accompany the OSFM release that's been announced.
Then there will be a version that comes out later (with no ETA whatsoever..and all inquiries about a timetable will be completely ignored) that is a bit less rushed. This 2nd version could look at things like stances/motions, but that's pretty far down the list. The main priority is checking the accuracy of vitals, ratings, and probably equipment.
Certainly, stances/motions could be added to the list, but it'll only be realistic if there are others who can work on a stance/motion thread so we can add them in. There's plenty of work for the handful of guys behind the Hybrid roster to do already that adding tens of hours of video research for stances/motions is unrealistic to expect. That said, if there are people who want to contribute and feel strongly about checking stances/motions, then they should start a separate thread to help out. That would be welcomed.
EDIT: It looks like there's a nice stance thread already in progress: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...5-stances.html
Wouldn't mind adding these in and adding in motions from a thread dealing with those.Last edited by WaitTilNextYear; 04-07-2015, 01:19 AM.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: OSFM & Hybrid 2015-Guidelines/Plans(Roster makers)
Update 4/6:
We are still waiting on a few teams to finish up, around 10 or so. That being said..... The workaround has helped us tremendously with the speed of this set, so we are gonna aim to release.....
This coming weekend for OSFM V1.
Now it may be Saturday or it may be Sunday depending on how things shake out but thats the plan. Remember this will be V1 so there will be corrections for V2 . Hybrid will begin work as soon as this file is completed and hope to have out within a few days of us. We will keep you guys updated.

Re: OSFM & Hybrid 2015-Guidelines/Plans(Roster makers)
Correct, sir. OSFM stands for Operation Sports Full Minors. The idea is to add in minor league players rather than use the fake players that are shipped with the game's stock roster.
Oh ok I didn't know if the fake players where just going to be edited or something.
The whole V2, V3, V4...V infinity is not happening this year with the Hybrid roster. There will probably be only 2 versions.

Oh so this year there is just going to be 1 OSFM and 2 Hybrid instead of the v1, v2 ect? So 3 different ones this year? When may we get the first Hybrid then?Comment

Re: OSFM & Hybrid 2015-Guidelines/Plans(Roster makers)
Wouldn't it be best to just give the rosters another week to shake out errors which would postpone a V2? The game as of now is only 2 weeks old, we're normally doing a Spring Training/V1 release at a 4-6 week mark, we'd still be slashing that with a little more patience.
The season started and I dont think we are breaking any federal regulations by releasing, if you choose however to the wait for V2 or any other version please feel free to.

I thought it was the funniest thing I have read all day. You need to take a step back and not take everything so seriously, being an *** all the time is really not healthyComment

The Hybrid won't be as rushed as we maybe originally had planned or thought. 2 of our behind the scenes guys have a bit more time on their hands then others right now so I can promise it will be a well looked at project as always. I would like to say we are aiming at releasing about 3 weeks from now, but that is also a very fluid date. Could be on either side of the spectrum.
Hybrid V1 will include any stances/motions in the thread, full rerate, jersey numbers update for minor league players, information check (although I am going to do that quickly before the OSFM V1 gets released).
The great thing about the Hybrid this year, because almost everyone respected the process when it came to creating the OSFM in regards to using our work from last year, and Teeds and WTNY have done incredible work on the spreadsheet providing almost every piece of info we could possible need as well as finding an even more accurate way to rate the players, WTNY has done just amazing work with this, creating the Hybrid will not be reinventing the wheel this year.
I have said it once and will say it again, I will not put my name or the names of all the guys who work on this behind a substandard roster release. There will never be perfection but it will be damn near close.

Yea WTNY was right in saying what he did. It's annoying seeing the same post every page! Like difference between OSFM and Hybrid or when are these going to be released? It's just annoying to see. That's all. When the website gives you a search feature, use it.Comment

Thanks for the clarification. Just excited to dive into franchise mode and trying to decide which set I will use. Thanks for all the hard work.Comment

Re: OSFM & Hybrid 2015-Guidelines/Plans(Roster makers)
So I'm a little confused on how to transfer rosters, because I have a fictional roster I'd like to transfer but am unsure on how to go about this. I know in the original post it said bring a franchise into 15 from 14 and export the players but I don't see an option for that in franchise mode.DODGERS-LAKERS-RAVENS-KINGSComment
