Hmm. That's weird. It's only happened to a couple pitchers. I noticed it happened to some position players too, but we are able to edit their eye black.

I have done extensive testing within franchise, focusing on contracts.... There is some issues with big money contracts like Giancarlos down the line as teams wont resign them and it totally wipes out team funds. 30 team control can fix that but for the V1 of OSFM we will make the years right but leave $$ alone on the super big contracts, leaving it up to you to decide if you want to edit it. As for the Hybrid thats up to Willard and Teeds what they wanna do. For OSFM beyond V1 someone can release an update with accurate $$ on all if they want to do it. I just dont want V1 to mess with the integrity within the franchise mode.

I did notice guys who had sunglasses with eye black and a few players showed up with eye black. No pitchers yet. Did it remedy if you export/imported again?

I tried importing them again several times. Only one was fixed. I still have two I am working on fixing.

We are just going to create one pitcher from scratch. The other pitcher is Clayton Richard that I used from MLB 14 that generated him to random with his correct stats. So I will work on getting him fixed.

Isn't there google doc somewhere that shows the progress of the roster somewhere? I always remember checking it to see which teams were green rather than asking, "when's this coming out?".

Not yet. Because of the way it's being done this year it changes the progress chart - plus we are only one day out

I sent a roster full of guys with mostly completed info and rosters to og236 for him to work on equipment. I think Willard (or someone) may be trying to help me out with 8-10 faces that weren't in '14. jrock is working on stances and updating our spreadsheet as he goes along. This week (especially Friday and Saturday) I'll also be working on stances/pitching motions and finalizing the ratings (doing a bunch of sims to make sure progression looks appropriate).

Hopefully on Saturday I'll get the equipment edits back from og236 and can begin the final update (adding stances, tweaking potential/ratings, maybe doing some faces). Fingers crossed I can have it handed in on Sunday.

Detroit Tigers-The roster is together and the extra players are included (25 players). We still have to do the equipment, contracts (Are we still editing contracts?) and one last pass thru to catch any errors.

We seem to be on target for Sunday morning.

I know I'm probably a little late to the party, but I've been out of town for the last week with family and haven't been keeping up to date. What exactly is the deal with this "workaround"? Sorry if this has already been asked.

The workaround is that if you start a franchise mode in '14 with the option CPU ROSTER CONTROL set to "on," then you can carry that franchise forward to '15 and actually export created players from that franchise file into '15. So, basically, even though you can't transfer a roster itself from '14 to '15, you can pick out individual CAPs from a carry over franchise, then import the individual player back into a new roster in '15 without having to re-create the face/ratings/etc. It's still tedious, but not as tedious as starting from scratch on each player.

Note that if CPU ROSTER CONTROL is not set to "on" when beginning a franchise, then you can still carry a franchise to '15, but you can't do any player exporting from that file.
