    Re: Cardinals Edits

Randal Grichuk - Ed Lucas, 2H, Stride 1, HR style 6

I've compiles a list of stances, if you want to add to the thread that would be great.

So Tommy Pham and Sam Tuivailala both didn't submit their paperwork for this upcoming season and that is why they aren't in MLB 15. I got Confirmation from Pham on that and Ramone also confirmed it for both players.

I still think Jered Weaver is the closest for Martininez Weaver has a similar starting point and he finishes his delivery falling off to the first base side. The middle of the delivery is still off though.

I'm personally not changing anyone that has an actual stance/delivery in the game.

                  Like Lynn and Heyward.

What about Vet Windup 23 for Carlos?

Its not too bad... I believe thats the old Nolasco delivery.

So the OSFM rosters just came out and they are nothing like the 2015 Cardinals rosters you first released players like Randal Grichuk (63) and Marco Gonzalez (62) are far under rated since one is currently playing well on the MLB roster capable of starting over Jon Jay and the other could easily be the Cardinals 5th Starter! Will this change in the updates? To me these rosters are still incomplete and changes to players overalls must be made before I start playing any of my game modes. I find it ridiculous that a player like Kris Bryant for the Cubs gets an 83 overall and is not the 4th best player on the Cubs when he has proven absolutely nothing at the Major league level. I think there are quite a few Cardinal players who are deserving of an overall boost. I would love to hear your guys opinion especially yours ilstu24 since you created the roster. Ik in your first roster Grichuk for example had a 79 overall will this be a change made in the OSFM roster updates they mentioned? Thank you!

I agree on the ratings...some are ridiculous. Especially Bryant and Gonzales. I'm thinking Gonzales must be a mistake. Girchuk is a little low, but to be honest he hasn't proved a whole lot at the ML level either (and his #s in AAA have been poor too). Outside of his raw power, he needs to be able to make more consistent contact and take mor walks. Not sure what's with Mathenys man crush on him. Seeing him play over Taveras in the playoffs last year drove me nuts. Again, he is low just due to the fact he's already in the majors, but 79 is too high. Maybe low to mid 70s. And I'd say mid 70s for Gonzales.

Gonzales and Grichuk that are included with OSFM have the crappy ratings that game with the game because they don't know how to rate young players (or any players for that matter but thats a different issue). When I released my Cardinals roster in the vault I accidentally uploaded my complete Cardinals team, not just the minor leaguers. The roster you have has all MLB players in the org rated based on 2013 and 14 stats, as well as tools and scouting reports. That wasn't meant to be released and is not part of OSFM. It will be part of my roster that will be out soon enough. I get my ratings based off of stats and scouting reports on the 20-80 scale. I don't pull my numbers out of the sky because it looks like they make sense.

Yeah I might have been high on Grichuk, but honestly look at the ratlins and tell me what individual ratings are too high. I saw what the overall was, and though it was 1 or 2 points too high, but then I looked into it more and couldn't really find what needed to be lowered without making it unrealistic to me. The dude just oozes tools. First round pedigree and its easy to see why. Can also play good defense in CF!
