Slow Players (like big Papi) need a boost
So I dont like to artificially change players ratings, I like to use the SCEA rosters every new week, but they really need to check certain players. They've got Ortiz at a 1 speed, (really)? I had Ortiz at 3rd the other day, and hit a sac fly to the wall, and he was gunned out at the plate.... he's not that slow.. come on guys. Fix that foolishness.Tags: None -

I agree with you, i have seen some players with speed ratings in the 60's when they should be in the 80's or at least near 80, for example Denard Span who stole 31 bases and we know has good speed, i know the speed rating is of the hardest because it can't be based on stats but common, this is one of the few things that SCEA has not mastered.Roster Creator

And Zach Duke's speed is at 99. I think? I know it's some pitcher.Comment

Re: Slow Players (like big Papi) need a boost
I got a guy on third with less than 5 speed rating, no way I'm letting him tag.
Even on hit to the warning track. If it's late & the run is important, I'm getting me a pinch-runner.
Even if I have to use a pitcher to run.T-BONE.
