They stand for Operation Sports Full Minors.

Operation Sports Full Minor Roster.

Since the development team is not allowed to incorporate any minor league players (unless they play one major league game), the fans here on operation sports devote their personal time and efforts to recreate and customize every team roster with all of the minor league players. Many members here (including myself) wait each year to download this roster for franchise play.

There's much more that goes into it. They do the stats and attributes for every player as close to their true to life stats as possible. I've downloaded this roster every year for the past 4 years, and it's very well worth the wait.

Damn, that's pretty incredible. My hats off to those of you that take the time and put forth the effort to better the game for all of us, I look forward to downloading those rosters. How do I know which one to download and should I go with the OSFM or Hybrid?

Look for a new thread with this information. It'll tell you the PSN and the roster name to look for in the roster vault. You can also just sort it by downloads as the OSFM and Hybrid are the most downloaded each year, with OSFM being a clear #1 in the vault.

It depends on what you want out of your roster in answering the second part. You should look through what sink4ever linked you to in post 2 to help you decide.

thanks, yah I've been looking that link over, it's very helpful I don't think I'll be downloading the hybrid roster. I look forward to the OSFM rosters very much so. Again thank you ot those of you that devote your time and efforts into these rosters.

Will the OSFM rosters include updated 40 man rosters for the major league teams as well?

In recent years the 40 man roster has been pretty spot on. I do not see any reason why it wouldn't be this year too.
