farmer joe: got your guys this evening. Good work as always, look for em in the Rays system!

rdbsr: I got yours too yesterday, plus I just downloaded the new first baseman I see you created. Great job as well - you may have to look a little harder for your guys though, they're in several different teams' systems!

Thanks guys! I always love to get more community created players in this roster.

Re: Fictional Rosters: MLB 2015 The Show

Hey guys - got a quick question for you... If you had the power to choose, would you rather have a more polished version of these rosters released April 30 as expected, or a slightly less polished and refined version released potentially a few days earlier?

At this point I'm not sure if I will have extra days at all, but if I do, I would like to take the rest of the time to sim franchises and see how the statistical output compares to real life, maybe make some final attribute adjustments.

Whether you helped create players, lend verbal support, or merely await the release of these rosters, I would love your feedback on where you stand with this, so let me know what you all think!

            Thanks again guys.

Sooner the better IMO. You can always release the more polished version when you have that completed to your satisfaction.

Yea, I'm leaning towards the sooner the better as well. I can't wait to start a franchise with these lol. Besides, I know there's at least a couple of us here that would probably be wiling to run a few simulated seasons and report back with all the numbers and stats.

I'm fine either way, I know the more polished version would be worth the wait, however as they said before me, I'd be happy to run test franchise to see what happens as well

Sooner, especially if you have time to polish up later. Ratings wise, I was planning on tweaking numbers around to fit my sliders, similar to how my rosters worked.

PS. I'm very excited to see this roster and can't wait to experiment with it!

I can definitely get a good idea of where you guys stand on this. If I do get done early, which may or may not happen, I will leave the testing and franchise simming to you guys! I hope to get a lot of feedback on everything from things that I missed, to franchise stats, to your favorite players.

Absolutely cannot wait. I made a few players for these, so cant wait to see everything released. I'm making a team full of my buddies to import over one of the teams too. I know these will be very good quality work!

Later , well not later like next year but april 30th is no biggie. If they come out early with no testing and we run franchises only to find out 4-5 guys are hitting 70 HRs it negates the point and the work still would have to be done. Polish away my friend

for what it's worth, i carried over my fantasy draft franchise to 15 from these created rosters from last year. I simmed a decent amount of season, but here are a few guys you might recognize...

Abel Valverde..stud 1b. MVP a couple of years. Never super high avg, but great HR/RBI #'s

David Nash...stud RF. Won MVP this year for me and almost won the triple crown.

Johnny Cole...my ace. Really peaked the last couple years after being a low 90's guy (if i remember right).

Brooks Mason...my darkhorse. Was a decent player with a high OBP most of the season, but caught fire in September and ended up 2nd in the league in HR.

Just something that might get you all excited about the new set. This franchise/roster is probably the most time/games i've ever put into this game. At times i miss knowing the other teams as well as i do in real life, but i love the team i was able to put together and the little universe i get to play in with these.

thanks to all who helped make these!

I really enjoyed making that roster last year and the results year to year weren't unrealistic to say the least. Brooks Mason was one of my favorites to make and was always a tough out for my A's. I don't know how many people saw this, but I created another mason as well. I can't remember the name, but I made them as though they were twin brothers lol.
