If you have anyone left to do for the Mets I can help with some info there watching all their minor league teams religiously.

Yes you will. We have Sunshine as QB, and our RB is actually a running back now...not a FB. We do need LB's though.

I am not asking for any kind of compensation for doing this so please do not take it that way. When people started fundraising for our family I rejected it at first.

Every year guys offer to donate money to guys who put their own time into building these rosters. I do it for the pure enjoyment I get out of someone else enjoying my work. I have received a couple of PMs from guys asking where they can donate. Normally I smile and move forward. But for the people who legitimately want to and can afford to do this - read on

This year is different and after talking to Ridin, I decided to create this post. Please I don't want I'm sorry etc from everyone - that kinda comes as understood.

Many of you know my wife and I had a baby last June and I stepped away from the hybrid for a bit to adjust to our new life. What only a handful know is back in August and September of last year he was diagnosed first with a heart issue and then liver issues. Since then my family has been living out of Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto as well as the nearby Ronald McDonald House so we can stay together as a family while we wait for a liver donation and eventually his heart repair.

Both of these places are fantastic facilities but would not be without donations - they charge us $15 a night at Ronald McDonald House and it costs them roughly $150 per family (there can be up to 81 families there each night all with critically ill children, and whom live 59kms or more away - many families are from all over Canada)

So if anyone would truly like to give back to at least one person in this community financially, I am asking that you donate to one of Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto or Ronald McDonald House Toronto. Both have info on their sites how to do so.

Thank you to anyone who does. It may not help my family directly but there are so many families you could be helping.

Hope my little bit will help out in some way.

Thanks for taking the time to do this and I pray for all the best with your family

That's amazing. Guys I don't expect this but greatly appreciate it. I just thought it would be a nice way to direct the offers of donations we get every year.

I had never set foot in Sick Kids before last September and thought of RMH as more of a hostel, which some are but the one in Toronto is absolutely incredible. I am lost for words for the amount of people who have reached out to me tonight.

Again it wasn't really attention I was seeking, more bringing awareness to a good cause with a personal touch from one of us - but it really was nice to read the kind things people have written me.

Working on these rosters was always a refuge from daily life - just more so this year and you guys will hopefully see the result of my extra attention to them when the roster releases.

Willard, thoughts and prayers for you and your family. It's a testament to your strong will that you would even be involved with these rosters while your going through all that you are. I would love to donate but I'm a little down on luck. I have a rare bleeding disorder that has kept me from being able to work. I get a very small amount each month from disability. It has been one year next Saturday since I was last able to work. These rosters and this game, along with NBA2k have been my distractions. Without them I'd sit staring at the walls, depressed and miserable knowing I haven't been able to work to take care of my children for a whole YEAR!! I truly appreciate all the effort you all put in. Thank you all so much!! Again Willard, thoughts and prayers for you and your family!!

Ok... So I'm new to MLB (and baseball in general as I'm from the UK lol) but I'm really enjoying my first ever franchise as the Nationals. I get it from the love here that these are the best rosters out there but what makes them so great? Is it worth it to scrap my chise and start again?

Yes, because all the real players on the 90 man roster are in the game. I don't start my franchise every year until their out. Also thanks everyone on the roster making crew.

                          Willard,

I grew up with a disability and my family and I spent a lot of time in the local Children's Hospital. I am where I am today because of that hospital and lots of wonderful people who donated time and money. My family, while not poor, was not financially well-off and those hospital bills really take a chunk out of one's wallet. I can totally empathize with what you and your family are going through. As a small thanks for your efforts and those of the OSFM team; I too have donated $50 to the SickKids hospital in Toronto.

I wish you all the best
Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.

Very worth it. I found these back in the show 13 and I loved them. This year especially the game is missing top prospects from my favorite team(Cleveland Indians). These rosters go through and make sure every team has true and accurate rosters throughput the organization. I am 20 games into my franchise just to get a feel for the new game as I haven't played in 2 years. I will be scrapping mine to start with these rosters so I have the true prospects such as Lindor and Naquin and more.

Ah right.... So currently using the default rosters not all the players are real... Cheers man. Well I will wait till these are released and start again. Do you have set r franchise rules and sliders with these roster set like simworldgaming does for the nba 2k15 game on the x1

These rosters are excellent. I suggest starting a second franchise and try it out. No need to scrap your original just yet.
